Its overpriced cash only or they charge u a fee i paid like $8 dollars for one corn and the corn was not that good it was dry and hard to chew

This place used to be AMAZING, the elotes WERE delicious, but I don’t know if in the last few months they changed management. The elote was cold, old tasting and hardly had any ingredients and the bottom was super dry… the people working there over charge and don’t prepare the elote the way they used too. It’s sad. ? the paletas are great!

I didn’t read the reviews before going there but I guess it has happen to many people I just move to villa park and I been trying different thing
I decided to go here to check it out what a really bad idea
I came inside the store and the lady with color blonde hair and a guy star staring at me like if my presence wasn’t welcome I don’t know I’d probably was because it was at 8:30 at night or what ever
She ask me what I wanted with an actitud I ask her if they have yogurt
Her answer was yes I ask her what the prices were she reply took at minute don’t know why but also ask me what fruits I wanted
Short story I bought the large one for 7.99
When I was ready to pay she ask me if I was paying cash and I told her no I wanted to pay with a debit card
She looked mad or something and tell me well I will charge you 2 dollar extra, I reply why do I have to pay 2 dollar extra
With no explanation she said because… she paused and stare straight in to my ayes
I laugh and said ok she walk to the other side of the store and actually charge me for it and didn’t even give me a receipt
Why I bright these review because they should tell you before even serve you that they will charge you extra for not paying cash , and I know many places they do that because you are paying less then 5-10 dollar there is a fee
But she didn’t even ask me if I wanted to buy something else so that way I don’t have to pay the fee she just said than I will charge 2 dollar extra
I ask the reason why she said just because
I don’t like wasting my time putting reviews but this place deserve it I’m glad too see I’m not the only one
What a shame that this is the closest paleteria near me but I will not mind the drive going somewhere else

Overpriced and they charge $2.00 if you pay with debit/credit card. Not even the Michoacana paleterias do that!

They overcharge you!!! Ask for receipt!!!! Horrible horrible service, women with bleach blonde hair is flirting half the time with coworker instead of taking customers orders.

Fresas con cremas . $7.99 extra because I wanted granola . Popsicle $3.00 each. Bought 2 was $6.00. I could gone to Jewel and buy a box for 8 to 10 units per case. Total of $14.00 paid . Way too expensive and the attendant has an attitude problem
