Good morning, FB friends. I had to just share this with you all. I had the pleasure of dining at Jo's Place in Virden with my son's after a phenomenal weekend. The restaurant, now under new management and ownership, offered exceptional food. The steak I had was one of the best, and the atmosphere was magnificent. Our waitress was polite and courteous, and we had the opportunity to meet the new owner, who is a wonderful person. It's a great place to enjoy a great meal at a great price.

Catfish fritters were excellent!! Fried mushrooms were great as well!! Everything cooked perfectly and more then I could eat in one sitting.

Fried mushrooms looked great. But had no flavor do to the flour... Not seasoned breading. The burger was delicious! Fresh beef. Not frozen. Delicious. Toasted ravioli you can't go wrong really. It's frozen and cooked. The marinara and spaghetti sauce delicious. 8 out of 10! Great job!!!

I had the sloppy Joe special tonight. The sandwich was great and so were the fries. I was not the only one who thought the slaw did not have enough dressing and that made it dry. Might just need stirred up as I could taste how it usually is.
