R & M Top Level Dining Room

Good morning, FB friends. I had to just share this with you all. I had the pleasure of dining at Jo's Place in Virden with my son's after a phenomenal weekend. The restaurant, now under new management and ownership, offered exceptional food. The steak I had was one of the best, and the atmosphere was magnificent. Our waitress was polite and courteous, and we had the opportunity to meet the new owner, who is a wonderful person. It's a great place to enjoy a great meal at a great price.

Delicious food! Great menu. Top notch service. They remember our favorite dishes and what we like to drink. Love the small town friendliness!

Absolutely one of the best lunches I've ever had!! Give them a try. Very unique homemade chili too. We will be back more often now that we know how yummy it is. Thanks Shannon and waitresses

I had the sloppy Joe special tonight. The sandwich was great and so were the fries. I was not the only one who thought the slaw did not have enough dressing and that made it dry. Might just need stirred up as I could taste how it usually is.

Just about the only place my husband and I go out to eat. Great service, yummy food and reasonable prices. We’ve never left disappointed.

Lived in Virden for a few years and just realized this was more than a bar and actually has a dining room. My family has started to make this a regular spot as they have the best fried mushrooms, and catfish fritters around. Can’t wait to continue trying other menu options!

We are from Virden and frequent Jo's place often. Our whole family loves Jo's. The mushrooms are best around, horseshoes are excellent, steaks are really good too. But the best part about Jo's would have to be the excellent service and cozy atmosphere. I highly recommend y'all try Jo's
