This is what Portillo’s WANTS to be. Fresh, quality Chicago eats out on the fringe of the suburbs. Has a touch more ambience than most hot dog stands- clean, lots of seating, great old pictures on the walls. Worth a stop if you’re hungry and in the area. Try the Italian chili if you stop by in the fall or winter.

What the heck happened to this place? This used to have some of the best beefs in the area. Now the sandwiches are barely filled and the au jus is basically slightly yellow water?!

Fratello’s is amazing. I appreciate the staffs and managers kindness to me even though I have autism and their food is amazing and really good. Owner Sherry is friendly. The restaurant is in good condition. Amazing polish and Italian beef. Must come back. 10/10.
