This is what Portillo’s WANTS to be. Fresh, quality Chicago eats out on the fringe of the suburbs. Has a touch more ambience than most hot dog stands- clean, lots of seating, great old pictures on the walls. Worth a stop if you’re hungry and in the area. Try the Italian chili if you stop by in the fall or winter.
Fratello’s is amazing. I appreciate the staffs and managers kindness to me even though I have autism and their food is amazing and really good. Owner Sherry is friendly. The restaurant is in good condition. Amazing polish and Italian beef. Must come back. 10/10.
I ordered a single cheeseburger with bacon lettuce tomato and pickle. They gave me a double cheeseburger without bacon. There was one tomato on there that was soggy and tasteless. The burger was lukewarm. The patties were not horrible but could use more seasoning. The fries were hot and crispy and tasted good. I might give them one more try. Price for double cheeseburger fries and a drink was $18. Seems a bit steep for the quality.
