Extremely overpriced. I don't understand the pricing system here. I paid nearly $20 for just a sandwich which did not even remotely fill me up. Waste of money.

I have a long time patron of Volo Quality Meats. I always know if I want the best meats, i drive a bit longer to go here. Today was my first time to order a sandwich and stay to eat. Holy sh!t I was blown away with my sandwich! From the bread to the meat and the cheese to the fresh veggies, simply amazing. Cant wait to try another sandwich next time. Keep doing what you are doing there!

Volvo Quality Meats is a standout deli offering top-tier cold cuts, mouthwatering sandwiches, and surprisingly incredible pizza. Their cold cuts are always fresh and flavorful, perfect for sandwiches or charcuterie boards. The sandwiches are generously packed, with fresh bread and perfectly balanced flavors—try the Dante or the The Ben Franklin!
Must Try!

Expensive sandwich. We've been to Italy twice , and this was terrible. Son threw away half his sandwich and I didn't stop him.

Have been here twice, once for pick up and once dine in. For the pick up I told the person by the right side counter my name and they yell it to the kitchen thru the service window. Kitchen yells back they aren't making it, idk if this was intented to be funny banter? First guy tells me it'll be ten more minutes and I sit and wait, atmosphere awkward. Similar weird experience when we ate there, staff seemed uninterested and more concerned with standing around than taking orders. Food is good but the portion size and cost is insane. Two sandwiches and a side of fries was almost 40 bucks, def too expensive to make this place a normal rotation.

Took 20 minutes to get my sandwiches. I wasn’t dining in so I was served last. People came in after me and were served first because they dined in. I ordered to go BECAUSE I NEED TO

First time here! I always take my time scoping out a new place that I visit. I check out the products, listen to the employees, check out the décor and generally look around to get a feel for what the store is all about.

I was very happy with this restaurant/deli and I will definitely go back. The food that I did try, I got a slice of vegetable New Your Pizza and my wife got the Turkey Sandwich. They were both excellent. The pizza crust was excellent. It was crispy and perfect for that style of pizza. It was jam packed with ingredients and well worth the price. The sandwich which my wife got was also very tasty. She enjoyed it. The price it right inline with this type of restaurant. This is not a Subway! If you want that type of low quality meat and bread, then this is not the place for you.

You go here for something special & unique and with the ambiance and pleasant staff, it makes for a pleasant time. I did study all of the food in the cases and it smelled and looked authentic to me. I'm Italian and know good Italian food and looking forward to going back and try some of the other authentic Italian dishes.

If you are looking to make a traditional Italian Antipasto Tray, which is now called a "charcuterie platter" then this would be the place. I often set trays like this up and have to go all over the area to find any kind of good salami and cheese to make the tray.

Traditionally when an Italian family has a guest, they always take out cheeses, olives, and salads to have something to eat. No one comes into an Italian house without being fed! The next tray I need to make I will for sure go here.

I can go on and on because I recognized so many traditional Italian items and packaged products on the shelves. There is a nice selection of wine and beer to choose from. They even have fountain drinks and other beverages.

The bathrooms are clean and there are two different sets of restrooms. The ones through the video gaming which kids are not supposed to use and another set, down the stairs.

There is a limited amount of parking in the front and more in the back. This is really close to the Volo Museum, so you can make a day of it with the family.

I will try and update the post after I go back and try more items. Oh yeah! The employees are exceptional and willing to talk about their passion of food and what they make. You won't find that at any sub shop or run of the mill restaurant. Passion is what we all want from someone making food that we eat. Cook with love and it shows.

Hi! I walked in last Saturday to get your hot bar, and I saw you had quiches. I bought one! I wish I had purchased two! It was fantastic. I hope you will keep making them! I don't write reviews normally, but this quiche floored my taste buds! Keep up the great cooking!

I have bought aged ribeyes, Italian sausage, pork belly to make burnt ends and everything was amazing! We’ve even eat inside, I had the daily pasta special, focaccia, NY style pizza, and the sandwich! I’m so happy to have this established so close to home! We visit about once a week!!

This place is completely off the charts! They have a great selection of meats, house made artisan sausages and charcuterie. The pizza and sandwiches are simply out of this world! Their Porchetta is mind blowing! The pizza is killer!

First and last. Asked for a Corned Beef sandwich, was told I could get a Reuben without the cheese, sauerkraut or dressing. Weird. With tax and tip it was $17.75. Pricey if it was loaded. It was not. Didn’t even include a pickle !! See pic. Waited 14 minutes.

Complained to the owner who then went on to tell me they only use the best of the best. One bite of the Corned Beef and you will know that that is not true.

Too bad! Volo could use a good deli- this ain’t it.

Have been here several times for sandwiches and soup. Everything is delicious, but they skimp greatly on the meat on the sandwiches - and they're pricey! A few days ago, we decided to try them once more, in the hopes that we'd actually get a decent amount of meat on our sandwich for $15. Nope, nothing has changed. Including a photo of their Franklin sandwich (roasted turkey). It's mostly bread and the toppings. One of the toppings is supposed to be avocado (according to their menu), but it's merely an avocado spread.

This is a most wonderful surprise
In a million years I’d never figure such an A+ Italian deli/market to be where it is
It is very easy to get to just off Rand Rd where Rand intersects Belvidere Rd/Rt 120
There exists no better sandwiches or pizza anywhere in Chicagoland
They also have hot dishes that are amazing
The store is stocked with primo goods

Definitely go here
