Cookie butter shake for the win! Kids love the marshmallow shake, Superman ice cream, and their Reese's flurry for my wife is always a hit! She likes the coffee and iced chai teas too!

They have great soft serve ice cream and banana splits (hubby's fav). Glad they have reopened. Everyone who works there are always nice and smiling. Who doesn't love ice cream? They also serve food (burgers and such) but we haven't tried it.

The people here are so sweet and friendly I hate to leave a negative review, but I absolutely would not get their cheeseburger again. The hamburger patty was some weird stringy meat. Haven’t tried their ice cream, hopefully it’s better quality!

Great service! Quick and friendly! The bbq nachos were tasty! The bbq sandwich and fries were yummy. The chicken sandwich and fries were good. The ice cream was yummy 😋 Glad we were finally able to visit!

I am there quite frequently and I have to say I love the people there. Very nice people who will go out of their way to help you. Not to mention they have the best ice cream from Davenport to Chicago! The prices are very good too.

Stopped on a hot Saturday afternoon for a tasty treat & WOW did DeWaele’s hit the spot! I’ve never had anything like their “stackers” before…I got the Peanut Butter stacker where it was ice cream, hot fudge, PB pieces, ice cream, hot fudge, small pieces of chocolate & then PB chunks. It was amazing! The ice cream was super creamy & smooth & it had just the right amount of toppings. They had a wide variety of unique stackers - something for everyone & of course many other types of sweet treats! We also had a chance to meet & talk to the owners & staff - Josh, Jamie, & Jersey & they were as sweet as the ice cream. I commend them for all of their hard work & creativity with their menu. I don’t make it up to Walnut very often but will go back to DeWaele’s whenever I’m in the area. Their ice cream is a 10 out of 10 & I hope the locals will support them! This is a must visit ice cream place!!
