Very nice bar and grill with a small town atmosphere. Definitely worth the ride to Walnut. We had the Chicken bacon ranch sandwich with homemade fries and a large salad. We shared each other's items and were stuffed when finished. Awesome staff and great bar area.

Food was excellent and food allergies weren't an issue. Waitress was very understanding and knowledgeable regarding menu items. Steak was delicious and sautéed vegetables were amazing! Wonderful addition to a small town will definitely be back soon
Went for dinner Friday night. The waitress greeted us quickly and brought our drinks quickly. We ordered wings and fries for 2 of the diners and two of the diners ordered meals. The wings were huge and worth every penny we paid. They were done right and so delicious. I let the waitress know the fries were cold and she immediately brought fresh fries. We choose the sweet potato fries and the rustic cut fries…. The fresh hot fries were yummy. The Pork Chop Marcella was fabulous. The wine reduction sauce was so yummy with the mashed potatoes and sautéed vegetables. This was the best pork chop any of has ever had! Perfect! 1 1/2” thick seasoned and cooked perfectly!! The other meal was an open Faced beef sandwich. Mashed potatoes Gravy and fresh veggies. There was nothing left of this plate when he finished. The beef was tender and cooked just right!! We will be back!

We’ve been to The Shed a few times now and have always had excellent food and great service! Love the farm decor, hung with a contemporary twist! Supporting local businesses is a favorite and I love that The Shed does that, purchasing their cheesecakes from a Rochelle, IL business! We are looking forward to our next meal and next slice of delicious cheesecake!

We had dinner at The Shed tonight. It was incredible! First of all, I’m a critical foodie. We had dinner when they first opened and I was not impressed(but they were growing into their own). Tonight?! …. Lights out! Their prime rib was some of the best I’ve ever had. And our server, she was a blast and very attentive. We had a table of 12 and everyone raved about their experience. Congrats to The Shed and their incredible staff and “back of the house” staff

We've been here twice. Once when they first opened, second time this past Sunday. Both times our food and service have been a little less than mediocre. Both times we went we got the pretzel for an appetizer with queso. 1st time the pretzel wasn't bad but they do not give you nearly enough queso for the size of pretzel it is. So our 2nd time we asked for an extra queso. The pretzel was awful!!! I'm not sure if it wasn't cooked long enough or if it was sitting out and stale but it was NOT good.
Service needs some serious improvement. Both times we have been there, it was lacking. I understood the first visit because they had just opened. Sunday, there was no excuse.
Our burgers weren't anything special. To be quite honest, I prefer a culvers burger over the burger I had here. My husband got the burger with pulled pork and he was very disappointed with the quality vs the price. I do have to say, their fries are very delicious! I was looking forward to having this restaurant in Walnut since my husband and I go kayaking in Walnut often. Unfortunately, I don't think we will be back.

When I was a kid, I never would have believed you if you told me a place like this would exist in Walnut. The whole place looks amazing, the food is out of this world good, and the service is above and beyond. 10/10 absolutely would recommend!
