Naperville Indian restaurants are a hit or miss. This one was definitely a hit. Nice to have a place that knows how to make a good coconut chutney. You can always tell the quality of the restaurant if they don’t make it fresh. Also, the sambar was excellent. So was my wedding biryani. It’s his favorite so he’s a hard critic.

$20 for an average tasting Schezwan chicken fried rice. With a few shreds of chicken. I think not. Not a great value proposition.

Mixed bag experience for me. The positives are the outstanding service. There is a QR code to place the order and we were able to quickly find a table even in rush hours. The kothu parotta had option of wet and dry. I grew up eating wet back home and generally the kothu is dry in most restaurants in US. The kothu parotta was excellent and high recommended. The ambience was pretty good and they had some Indian beers which is a nice plus.
We also ordered a grand non veg thali and mutton chukka. There was nothing grand about the thali. The items were limited, gravy portion was small and is not value for money in my opinion. I would say make it 25 bucks and make it actually grand. Thali needs to be stand out dish and don’t cheap out on it please.
Mutton chukka was a disaster for me. The meat is probably lamb and not goat. If it is goat indeed, I would skip any mutton items. If not, I feel they should be upfront about it.
