This is a wonderful restaurant and worth trying if you like Italian. It has friendly wait staff. The food is very good. Now its not a place if you dont have time. Make sure to plan to spend at least an hour here. I recommend the salmon.

I recommend Bernardi’s to anyone for any occasion! Authentic Italian that has fried chicken too! The atmosphere is nice! Similar to a family restaurant. Service is decent.. seems to be under staffed, but what restaurant isn’t these days! Get the pretzel for an appetizer it’s worth it! Beer is cold, draft or bottle! Lasagna is fantastic

Excellent food and service.... Best place around... From the chicken to the pasta to the ribs.. always excellent... Service is always on point... Servers and bartenders are some of the best.. nowhere else I'd rather have a nice sit down dinner.

I have been coming to this restuarant since it opened and prior to that had enjoyed Mona's and Capponi's in Toluca since I was a kid. The quality and consistency of the food, service, and management is unmatched in my opinion. The family atmosphere is comfortable and welcoming. If you have never experienced Bernardi's in Washington, you owe it to yourself to do so.

Great Italian food. Weekends are busy, so reservations are recommended. Our waiter was friendly and got our drinks quickly. We had to wait a bit for the food since the restaurant was full. The pasta dishes were delicious. It has become our family tradition to have family dinners here

Food is always delicious but the service has been horrible the past 2 times we have been there. So sad because we love this place but I can't continue to go when we wait over an hour for food, when they are not even busy!!!! It takes forever to be waited on too.

Had take out. They charge a 5% carry out charge and I got a salad with the Thursday special but they charge you if you want any dressing on the salad 🤔. Food was good as usual. I usually leave a tip but no tip with these extra charges sorry.

We had an amazing dinner last night at Bernardi's to celebrate our wedding anniversary! The food was absolutely delicious—we started with the stuffed mushrooms, and then I had the baked tortellini while my husband had the fried chicken dinner. Everything was cooked to perfection. The friendly staff and accommodating owner, Stephanie, made the whole evening even more special. We had a wonderful time and would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a great dining experience.

We ate there Saturday evening and were impressed by the food and wine. There were 4 of us and everyone really enjoyed their entrees.

We usually order their family pack to celebrate special occasions. Not that long ago it cost around $35. Now it has almost doubled to $63. I find it hard to believe their operating costs have jumped that much. We can no longer afford Bernardi's. Too bad as I love their fried chicken.
