If I could give zero I would. While the waitress staff was awesome the new owner was horrible. We found metal in my husbands food and when we questioned about it she came off rude and unapologetic on the situation.. she then called me rude and got smart with me. I advise to stay away from the new owners

Ordered walleye fries tartar sauce and coleslaw... No tar tar sauce no ketchup.. Another restaurant in Washington that disappointed ?...won't be back... Tasteless... how people can eat it??

Sat down and was served water and coffee right away. That was the last of the service. We were pointed at, at least three times by wait staff but nothing. My husband held his coffee cup upside down for approximately 5 minutes and nothing. The coffee pot got to the next table and wait staff turned around. We got up and paid for our coffee which was over $4.00. Last time we try this restaurant.

If you like super diner food, this is it. I am never disappointed. Friends tend to like the club sandwiches and I am a creature of habit in that I love to have breakfast there. Pancakes are tasty, eggs and bacon are done to my liking (over easy). I've had the biscuits and gravy, omelets, grits... all yummy. New waitress so I forgive that I waited for a coffee refill which came from the cook. Checking in for refills or other needs is one of my picky issues when dining out. I will still go back for the food and friendly vibes.
Parking: Lot is on the premises. If needed ( I never did), there is street parking right there.

The Fillin' Station is a replica of an old time café with license plates covering the walls. The service is really impressive with multiple nice people checking in on you. The gravy on my Sunnyland Skillet was the best I've had in a while. The french toast was a little thin but tasted good. To be fair, it wasn't described as texas toast. It was regular bread and was good. Eggs were done exactly as ordered. I definitely suggest you make this your next stop.
Parking: It can be a little tight in the parking lot because they draw a big crowd. Not a big deal, use common sense and don't be a d@#k.
