rude staff long waits mostly teens working. honestly a bad experience DONT waste your time and find a different place!
Love this place! Pizza was great. Their house dressing on salad is my favorite!
Best pizza in town. The sauce is 2nd to none. Just wish they offer a military 🪖 discount
Chicken had no flavor. Fish sandwich was dry. Ravioli/Spaghetti sauce was awful. Garlic bread was soggy. There was a human hair in the mashed potatoes. $73 for 3 meals! The food went into the garbage.
I have been going to Palanzas since I was 6 years old. Always have loved going there. Unfortunately tonight was most likely my last night going there. I dined in for an hour and never once was asked about a refill. My chicken should not have been served. It was over cooked, almost paper thin with the cheese barely visible on it from being cooked too long. My fiancé received her chicken Parmesan with a hair strand in between the batter and the chicken which she could literally pick up the chicken with the hair. The manager came and spoke to us and asked what she could do to fix the problem without an apology at first. We had her replace the order with a small pizza. By the time she came back to our table she said that she apologized and proceeded to say she doesn’t know how a blonde hair got in her food because no one in the back had blonde hair. As if to insist my fiancés hair somehow got stuck in the chicken. And all the while my drink had sat empty on the table. It was unprofessional service and again, it is disheartening that because of this experience I won’t bring myself to come back to a place that is full of nostalgia for me.
My favorite thin crust pizza place in the Peoria area. The chicken bacon ranch pizza sets the bar for chicken bacon ranch pizzas.
The house vinaigrette is amazing, especially if you like garlic. I'm not one to specifically order a salad, except here.
Just moved to the East Peoria area. First night in our new home after long day of moving. Wanted to get something easy and local. Googled pizza near me and Palanza's jumped out. Got a pizza, mozzarella sticks, and wings. Pizza was great. Good sauce and crust. Mozzarella sticks were average, but that's not a bad thing! They did their job. Now the wings, we got medium Buffalo, and I loved the flavor of the sauce. Had a little sweetness to it, which I liked. Chicken was good quality. And their homemade ranch and bleu cheese were some of the best ranch and bleu cheese I've ever had. There was something unique about both of them that made them really stand out. My only negative about them was that I ordered the wings naked, not breaded. And we got breaded. The breading tasted fine, but by the time you get home with takeout and being sauce up, the breading gets soggy, and my wife doesn't care for breading overall. But the quality and flavors were there. Will definitely be back.
The host was amazing, however the rest of our experience was the opposite. I'm inclined to write this review since this is my second visit, and both have turned out to be negative experiences.
Tonight, we patiently waited for our table, then when we ordered, it took nearly an hour for it to arrive, we ordered, 10 pc. Bone in, 10 pc boneless, and 1 bacon cheeseburger with fries.
Their "boneless" wings were chicken tenders, they barely had sauce, and the cheeseburger was literally dripping blood.
We asked for them to take the chicken off, because we only touched 3 in total. But they wouldn't grant the request. Our waitress want even mature enough to come over and check on us to discover our grievances, their Host did, which I commend, he really understood what was happening and tried to fix it.. but was over ridden by his supervisor, I'm a new resident in the neighborhood and after 2 negative experiences here, I won't be coming back to this establishment. The total cost of what we ordered was $60, for chicken we didn't even eat.. I'll take our business to Alpha Bravo or the Fillin Station instead, they don't waste their customer's time and money.

All the food is delicious! I love the chicken and shrimp Alfredo, pizza, and chicken. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because they don't offer fried chicken ala carte.m we would like pizza and 8 pieces of chicken. They only offer chicken as a family meal or a meal for one.
Had the za and it was delicious can not wait to return and try some other items

We went on a Friday night right after it was reviewed on 25 news, so the place was hopping. Despite them being busy, we were seated and served in a reasonable time. The food was good. Both my partner and I ordered pizza, which was pretty darn good. Only thing is the price was a bit higher. We may come back when we want a good pizza.

I made a take out order for Palanza’s Italian Feast. I was expecting at least a 30-45 minute wait since it was Friday at 5:30 but I was very surprised when they said 15 minutes. The parking lot was jam packed but the pick up window was clear. I think there were about 10 people working in the kitchen. The order was ready right on time and they even offered help to carry it out to my car. The food was well packaged and piping hot. We had spaghetti with tomato sauce, 10 pc fried chicken, salad with some seriously good ranch and garlic bread. The bread is crusty and soft with a generous amount of garlic butter. The tomato sauce is rich and on the sweet side, but not too sweet. The chicken was crispy, tender and flavorful. It was a perfect meal for 4 at a really great price. Palanza’s is now our go to restaurant!

It's an absolutely amazing family run restaurant. The best Chicken Alfredo in Central Illinois. My wife had the Chicken Alfredo with a little spice. I had the Chicken & Shrimp Alfredo with a little spice. We split the add-on meatballs. Everything was delicious! We highly recommend getting your Italian fix here.
