If I could give half a star, I would. This place is just horrible. This was my first time here and they had no cornbread and had no carbonation in the fountain drinks. There was a child of one of the employees sleeping in a booth and hair products out on another as if they were doing hair in the restaurant. The young staff member was very nice and trying to help when I told him about the fountain drinks. He stated they have been out for awhile and even asked the manager if he could give us some of the sprite they been using from a 2 liter. I sadly will never return to this restaurant. I had high hopes and it was quickly turned into a nightmare.

As of August of 2023, this location is open, but barely.Employees were friendly, however they were out of almost everything such as, chicken pot pie, lemonade, and even ICE! And all of the food was overpriced. All of the tables in the restaurant were dirty. And the parking lot was in horrible shape.

This is the “cornbread” we got. The rice was hard & not cooked all the way. The mac & cheese was so watered down & the chicken was completely dry too. This place used to be SO GOOD & it’s so awful now. Customer service was great but the food was not good. We couldn’t even eat any of it.

Undoubtedly the worst dining experience for anyone who steps in. Parking lot is empty save for a group of panhandlers who seemed to made this their hub point. Never seems to have business so you would expect a short and convenient serving time but on the contrary. You will wait upwards of ten minutes before you have what is expected to be a homestyle meal. My son and I went and we ordered two chicken carvers sandwiches. Our server talked to us while the cook made our food and we appreciated the small talk but that was the peak of our experience. We were given our food on a tray and we're apologized to for our waiting due to the sandwiches being warmed up. Is the food not supposed to be warm as it's made? I asked for any type of hot sauce on the side and was provided with two unique sauces. Both were delicious but we unfortunately couldn't have the same sentiments about our entrees. Our sandwiches were steaming and about as soggy as a shoe left in the rain. Upon separating the bread slices, we were met with wilted lettuce, a measly slice ripped in half. Tomatoes were sliced as thick as steak and my son's tomatoes looked liked sheets of paper. Mayonnaise curdled probably to them being "warmed up", code for microwaved, from my experience working in restaurants in my youth. Mayo spread was unbelievably poor and stingy for lack of a better term. The chicken was adequate if you hadn't eaten in two weeks that is. Our broccoli was bland but I could have overlooked that if we hadn't been served the obvious past its holding time vegetable. My son was given wilted dark as night broccoli and i was given bright green broccoli that was cold on the inside. I gave him mine and he enjoyed that at least. Tables were dirty and we had to make two tours of the dining area to find a table that was the least dirty. Dining room looks like a storage with the amount of boxes blocking multiple tables. One table was being held up by 8th pans. Gentleman's restroom was in poor condition and extremely filthy. Never in my life have I skipped on using soap because the soap appears foul. I have nothing but negative observations to speak of about this establishment. Terrible service, filthy, unreasonably priced, and disassociated crew and management. I ask the community to petition the removal of this restaurant and replace it with something beneficial to the consumers.

Zero star if I could. Mashed potatoes and gravy tasted rancid. I asked the crew member if they had butter packets for our bread, he said we don’t have butter. Told him the coke machine was out, he looked at me, said nothing and then continued to look at his phone. The tables and floor were filthy, holes in the floor and not to mention they had serving pots holding up one of the booths and they had storage boxes stacked up in the dining area. My friend and I hadn’t had BM in years and we were excited to go since we were visiting from Kenosha. So disappointed, never again! How the hell is this place open?!

Service was terrible never have chicken and very unprofessional. Serve you food with no gloves on, bad attitudes to customers and food was cold after I drive up there twice to get food unbelievable, also order 3 piece but only got two piece. Whoever owner is needs to get better crew members

We walked in... All the tables are a mess, nats(fruit flies everywhere), bathrooms are a mess, ladies restroom needs maintenance & the restaurant has a funny smell.. did not order, did not use the restroom... I never been to a Boston market and I won't be back.

I wouldn't recommend! It took the woman almost 30 minutes to prepare a bowl and a sandwich. The sandwich she over microwaved, the bowl she poured so much gravy on, that gravy was all over the counter, and she is laughing. Another worker comes in to work, takes ticket for a online order and proceeds to make the order without washing his hands nor did he put on gloves. When I mentioned to woman that he wasn't wearing gloves she just laughed. The manager was running around confused. Got home, sandwich bread was rock hard. Both meals went into the garbage. This was my second attempt at this location. First time, the chicken wasn't done. The skin was white and rubbery. I filed a complaint, they sent me a gift card. Second attempt was even worse. Get professional workers, or shut down!!!

Semi warm expensive food. How do you mess up mashed potatoes and Mac n cheese? I couldn't tell if they where open as there are no lights on inside and it looks closed. Employees where nice though.

Stay away.. the chicken was very dry and why would they offer warm soda to customers. They don't even deserve one star. I should have known when I pulled in the lot with garbage all over the place. Go to a gas station you will get better food.

If I could give it ZERO stars I would! I used to visit this location often when I lived in Waukegan. Today I decide to stop in, food was not fresh, cold, meatloaf tasted like a frozen dinner, no working ice machine, and had the nerve to charge $35 for a meal I wouldn’t feed to my dog! #trash

If I could give a zero I would! Shame on the employees for even providing our family with the food that they did. The order was over $50.00 my bonus mom ordered meals for the family and my dad went to pick it up. Once he got back home we are completely missing a meal the time is about 730 ish give or take and my bonus mom is like I’ll run to go get the missing food. We proceeded to eat the food that we had and it was HORRIBLE!!! Completely my 6&7 year old could not eat it I tasted the chicken and it tasted so foul I could not believe it. So I call my bonus mom and I tell her the food is horrible we can’t eat this and she says they are telling me they’re closed but online it says they’re open until 9 pm the guy that she spoke to said they were out of chicken nuggets and they completely disregarded explaining that to my dad the person picking up the order. Now the drive is not around the corner this is a 16 min drive there 16 mins back only for us to find out the next day that the guy way lying about them being closed long story short NEVER EVER AGAIN! Unacceptable customer service and I’ll never eat at that location again.
