Really great coffee shop with unique coffees! I really have enjoyed everything I have gotten from them, my favorite so far has been the mazapan latte. Always end up finding great things in the store too to pick up!

Have heard so many things about this place. FINALLY got a chance to check them out myself, and I must say- it was worth the wait! The vibe is on point, let's start there. I love the "fusion of cultures", so to speak. And the coffee was top tier, I got the Iced Abuelita Latte. ?? The customer service was also incredible. Will be back soon.

A long overdue review. I was never a regular of the big green logo chain, so to become a regular here for me was not based out of past habits but built out of the love for the people, the drinks, and the community that make Drip and Culture special. Quality wise there is no match. You can taste the coffee and espresso in all of their drinks because you're supposed to; they aren't trying to hide behind anything. Their syrups are all house made, utilized for thoughtful, experimental, and bold drinks that you won't find anywhere else, but they also aren't slouching on the classic lattes. They support local businesses through popups, night markets, and partnerships in the cafe. You can join the run club and find out that the vibe they maintain in the store exists there too. You can learn at their cooking demos and other programming throughout the year. This is not your ordinary coffee shop and it would be weird if they were. They are a community institution and they're only getting better each day. Easily one of my favorite places in Waukegan.Dietary restrictions: Several options for non-dairy milkParking: Two lots for the grocery store plus street parking.

Very nice little coffee spot with great java!! It is located inside Gonzalez grocery in the back of the store. They created a nice space to sit and relax and enjoy your choice of tea or coffee.I love it next time I am in the area I will stop in again(added bonus they have pastries)

Located inside Supermercado González so not easy to find but worth the effort.I had a Bourbon, Creme Brule "fancy" latte. Not too syrupy and delicious. Bonus points to the young lady barrista for suggesting that my fancy coffee will compliment my fancy outfit. Also, she broke out the blowtorch to create a proper Creme Brule. Met the owner, forgot his name (sorry) but very down to earth.Tables for games or laptop work. Some cool things to buy. A tiny lending library. Nicely done.Update: went back.My favorite coffee from the Canary Islands is called Leche Leche. It's equal parts sweetened condensed milk, steamed milk, and espresso. It's sweet, smooth, and packs a punch.Jay the Barista was kind enough to indulge me to make one and it came out wonderful. The lounge is 2 couches and an area rug but it's taken directly from a 1977 living room. I sat there watching the original Star Wars played on a 25" Magnavox color console TV played off of a VHS. Retro done right. It's not easy to find. It's located towards the back of Supermercado González (inside the supermarket) located at 2015 Grand in Waukegan (1 block West of Lewis.

I came in near closing and was still greeted and served with great customer service from Jay. The space is decorated very well and reflects the intention of the grocery store. The matcha I ordered was delicious. I finished it before I left the parking lot which was my bad ! Jay’s recommendation of a resturant also turned out to be a great one. When I’m in the area I will stop in again. Thank you Jay and Drip and Culture.Parking: Parking for the grocery store is available. The lot is smaller but I didn’t have a problem finding a space.

My husband and I moved from Seattle to Chicago almost 2 years ago now. We ended up staying at an Airbnb in Waukegan while we waited to close on our house. We were in walking distance to this coffee shop. As a coffee enthusiast and having lived in Seattle over a decade, I've been to MANY coffee shops. This is one of my favorites. The drinks are out of this world good! You cannot go wrong ordering and trying anything on the menu. I'm also obsessed with the Thomas Street coffee that they sell. We now live about 40 min away from Waukegan and I think about this coffee shop almost every Saturday when I wake up and I want specialty coffee. The owner and everyone that works there are also the nicest people all around. LOVE how it's styled, love the merch, the stickers, everything!

My drink was delicious would definitely recommend. The ambiance was also nice. The location is in a grocery store so it's more of a grab and go but you should definitely GO! I also had great service.

Great experience in a wonderful setting. Espresso and Raspberry Mocha were great. VHS Star Wars playing was a bonus.
