The place itself could use some updates it's a bit outdated as are most hole in the wall, mom and pop joints but I've been coming here for years and they do not disappoint. I've never tasted a difference in 18 years their seasoning has stayed the same for many years and they offer some items that you can't get anywhere else like Tepache and quesadillas de huitlacoche(corn smut aka Mexican Gold). Every single Monday, I order the same exact meal: Mojarra. For months now & I have not had that anywhere else. I LOVE IT!! & today, was THEE BEST!!! Next time, I plan to go there & dine in!! “Mí corazon!” My hometown is Waukegan, IL. I will always value the authenticity of Golosinas! Much gratitude!!

Very delicious! I had the quesadilla combo and they were great. The carnitas with cheese was my favorite. The chorizo con papás could have been better but not horrible. The masa for the tortillas was fluffy and perfect to taste. Portion was huge I barely made a dent in the plate definitely shareable
