Steak hoagie was nasty. Meat was tough with no flavor. Only thing that saved the day was the beaded mushroom. Too bad they didn't give sauce

Really good! I had the turkey, bacon, and cheese and this was hands down one of thee best subs I think I’ve ever had. It was toasted to perfection, had plenty of toppings, and was very tasty! I went through the drive thru and the young gentleman taking my order was very nice!

I’ve passed by this establishment for years. I finally stopped by and picked up their Italian hoagie (cold) yesterday. Without a doubt it was one of, if not the best Italian sandwiches I’ve ever had. The Italian spices are what makes the difference I believe. I’m on my way back today for another one.

Food is great make no mistake, but the customer service is horrible. It's heavily implied if you don't like it go somewhere else. My wife bought a new vehicle so we decided to go for a drive, they're 1 hour away from where I live, we get there and the lobby was closed. No signs anywhere warning you, we weren't about to eat a hoagie in her brand new vehicle. When I called to ask the guy was pretty rude, could care less. Then he has the balls to block my number! Like an idiot I tried going back and wanted to order ahead on the way back from Chicago, 10xs went right to voicemail. My wife called went through 1 try. If I called there swearing and insulting I could see that, but you're gonna block me because I called to see why the lobby was closed??? Yeah I'm not going back...

First timers... not impressed. We got 3 sandwiches. Chicago cheese steak hoagie, seafood hoagie, chicken cheese Philly hoagie. 6inch each. All with fries. Fries were hot and fresh but not salted. Sandwiches... fresh toasted bread- good. Very unique take on chicago cheese steak with lettuce, tomatoes onion and Italian seasoning/dressing. The meat was a topping on a veggie sandwich. Chicken hoagie had grilled onions and mushrooms on it with some of the Italian seasoning. It was like Italian beef flavored chicken Philly. Very different. Seafood hoagie had a ton of lettuce, onions italian seasoning on it. It was a cold sandwich on toasted bread. I expected warm seafood. It looked like seafood dip smeared on a toasted bread topped with a head of shredded lettuce and 1/4 of an onion. See pictures for yourself. We won't be rushing back there.

You know how they say, don't judge a book by its cover....This is the exact meaning of this statement.This is by far the best hoagie I've had in Illinois....Now....are you going to wait about 20 minutes for it....yesShould you get the chocolate cake if they have it? YES!!!!Now....I recommend the Chicago Cheese steak HoagieThe footling is not cheap....but it's huge...can feed two....and VERY worth it.Don't let looks deceive you and run to this place!!

I was a kid when my dad would take our family to the hoagie hut on bank ln in Highwood.For years since they closed I’ve been very happy that this location has survived.I hope it’s around for the next 100 years.A Chicago CheeseSteak Hoagie with fries would be my last meal if I had to choose.Just perfection.
