I ordered the NY Cheesecake Pancakes for carry out yesterday afternoon from the Waukegan location on Belvidere Rd after my Secretary of State appointment down the street. I live 30 minutes away so there is no point in calling to complain since I will likely never go back. When I treat myself to something sweet, I get the cheesecake pancakes. I know how they are prepared. There wasn’t a single bit of cheesecake in the pancakes. I ate one yesterday and figured that was an oddball. I go to eat another today, but decide to cut up the pancake before heating and not a single chunk of cheesecake to be found in any of the three pancakes I have left. Extremely disappointing since that is what makes them cheesecake pancakes. Without it, they are just plain pancakes with strawberry topping and let’s be real, all other diners and breakfast restaurants make way better plain pancakes, e.g., Cafe 14, Walker, Breakfast Factory, etc. I left a $4.00 tip on a $11-and-change carry out order. That shows me.

We asked for a table of 5, and we were sitting on top of each other in the corner booth with no elbow room instead of 2 tables pulled together. Yes, we asked, and a chair was brought over at the head of the table with still not enough room with all the plates they give per person. Also, one may be able to speak English well, but it doesn't mean everything is understood clearly. I repeated myself 4 times clearly patiently and gave in when the lack of understanding wasn't received. Not to mention, the coffee served to us was lukewarm on the colder end. I've enjoyed better service from IHOP elsewhere. I wouldn't go back to this location.

Nothing like IHop pancakes!!! I went on a Tuesday morning and there was plenty of seating. No one was there so service was kool. Food was HOT and right on time! Yup I'll come back during down time anytime!

It was ok. Our guest ain't speak much English but she was quick to ask if we was ready and decent on the come back. Hash browns can be. A preference thing. But fluffy hash browns ain't it for me. I like my hash browns crispy fried up not cooked. I didn't know if people request this style of hash but I wasn't pleased. It may be ignorance on my part besides that. I got to eat pretty fast n everything else was good...
I was visiting from out of state, and really enjoyed being there after troughing through the snow. The staff was attentive and friendly, the food was good too!!

If you order online, when you get there, order is not ready by the time they say it. and you are not even allowed to seat, you have to wait in the entrance. If you ask how long it will take - they’ll tell you “5 minutes” (when i had to wait for at least 20) - staff not answering properly and rarely paying attention to customers. Trash service - wouldn’t recommend.

The food was great. The service could have been better.
So, I was here on Veterans day. My wife and I got a free meal. So who could possibly complain about that? We made sure to buy things for our kids which were not free. We couldn't leave wait staff with no bill or something. That wouldn't have been right. They ate well. We all did. IHOP did a very nice thing for this family of Veterans on Veterans day. And I will come back next time I'm in Chicago. We made sure to tip well in cash too. Good dining experience.

It was an IHOP. But it can use some cleaning. I had to request the waitress to wipe my table off because there was jelly on it and there was still a jelly packet top on the seat. She said oh there were kids here. That's cool, but wipe up. The windows by the benches were also very, very dirty. The food was good as it usually is in places that are a little dirty. 🤣🤣

It is my first time after a while. It is very nice the service and personal and the food was delicious. I will go back and highly recommend.
