When I am in Waukegan IL, I drop by Isabella's and the food is good! The staff is great as well. Recent renovations took me by surprise, I love it! Great place to visit after work or lunch hour. Have a beer while playing the slots. Nice place to pass the time. Food, laughs, slots, drinks; Five Star location!

I’m a stickler on Italian beefs…This place has one of the best Italian beefs I’ve had.. I truly enjoy them! I prefer them not dipped I like the bread. I keep going back from an Italian beef!!

Decent Chicago Dog...mainly due to fresh toppings - but does not look like a Vienna brand...even though they have Vienna Hot Dog signs hanging on the wall. Fries could be better, just need to be cooked longer - make sure you ask for crispy fries. If they could simply concentrate on doing a high quality hot dog...and fresh cut fry, I think they could do well. Not much of that available in the immediate area. Overall a friendly and fairly clean spot... Not better then Portillos, but on par with Norm's/Jack's - very very average food. They have slit machines on 1/2 of the business - i lost $20 in 3 minutes. No star deductions for that. This place is a slot machine business first, that is trying to turn out decent food...they may get better.
Ordered a Chili-cheese fries with hot peppers. Was decent, nothing terribly special but solid.They also have six slot machines...no winning spins. Very clean inside.

As soon as I walked the lady taking the order was beyond rude (around 4:15 pm on 9/21) I walked in and said hello, her response was "yeah" with major eye roll. Since she couldn't hear my order, I pulled down my mask a little so she can hear me. She told me to put it back on which I understood but not even a minute later people come in with no masks on and she did not tell them anything. Instead, she engaged in a conversation with them. I would recommend Big Norms on grand Avenue, now that's a place where they are friendly and respectful.
