They are raciest, my friend took someone’s chair because we didn’t know its someone else when other lady come back we give her back but still she abusing my friend and me also even I didn’t know Spanish , and he left from there and after 2 hours when we go back there then security didn’t allowed us to enter, that’s so rude , it’s only for Mexican don’t go there

This place was suggested to my family and I by a couple of our Uber drivers so we figured we would go for our last night dinner in Wakegen. What a disgusting disappointment! As soon as we walked in we were looked at like we were Aliens and a security guard sat us at a very back table away from everyone in the very very back. The waitress seemed to not understand English very well and was not very nice or accommodating. I ordered a $14 drink that was terrible and could be drank. When our food came out ( one meal at a time) it was absolutely disgusting and inedible. As a family of four, none of us ate our food after the first two bites. The chicken was stringy and slime, the steak was nothing but hard pieces and sope were raw, rice was mushy and tasteless, refried beans were like brown tasteless water and that’s just the beginning. I would have given 0 stars if I was able to. BEWARE of this place as a tourist!!!

The food was expensive (like $20+) for simple plates (think enchiladas, tortas, etc) and was bland and unpleasant tasting. Customer service was horrible and the atmosphere was standard. They have multiple security guards looking like wannabe cops. Would not recommend. Money and time could be better spent elsewhere.
I don’t ever leave reviews but this is easily the worst Mexican food I’ve ever had. The rice tasted plain, the beans were basically flavored water, and the chicken was taking a bath in so much juice it drowned my tortilla. And the grand finale…the food wasn’t even hot. I’ve had gas station burritos put up a better fight than this.

1) Unclean flatware there was food stuck on the fork
2)Floaters in my beverage
3)Table was wet and sticky
4)It was so hot patrons including myself, and my husband were using paper plates to fan ourselves because we were sweating.
5) upon entering the left seating area in the restaurant. There is a crack in the tile floor, which made the tile unlevel. My sandal got caught and I went propelled headfirst. Luckily, I did not fall or run into the tables around me.
6) The young lady that served us was very friendly however, her English was lacking so much so she had to go get another waitress to translate.
My husband was only asking for shrimp sauce.
7) I ordered one tamale to take home our waitress forgot to place the order for it so I just said never mind
8) the initial bill that I was provided did not have the breakdown of the cost and what I was being billed for.
I got a bill for $74 and I believe eight cents. I asked the waitress where’s the rest of the bill I need to know what you’re billing me for which she promptly went and got.

Another great ethnic restaurant! The seating room was hand-painted, and it looked like someone took a LOT of effort to make the restaurant pretty. They succeeded! The food was also fantastic and unique. I had a pineapple stuffed with seafood and fruit, and I loved it! My only minor issue was that only one staff member that was there spoke English, but what do you expect? Wakeagan has a large Hispanic population, and I didn't expect to eat American food. With a translator app and the lady who spoke English, I think the restaurant is fine for an English speaker to go to. I will be back.
