La Michoacana Premium - N Lewis, Waukegan

Had the first bad experience at the lewis location.

I was waiting behind a line of 3 people, the customer had trouble with change so it took a little linger but i still waited, when it came to my turn and the employee who said her name was “Dana” & she was the “only manager there”, she was of bigger build, tattoos on her arms and black hair. Asked what I wanted, i went to look at the juices right next to her which took 2 seconds of glancing over and by the time im telling her the flavor there is a group of 4 people checking out.
I questioned her as to why she couldnt wait and she said “i was just checking the out lady” & i said “right… but the same way i waited, they should have waited” i practically had to get BACK in line so i could be attended and decided to not get anything. She gave me such a hassle so i can get someones contact info & at first was unwilling to give me her name, she told me to just look it up on the internet

Never have had an experience like this, Never been rushed to pay or anything. Everyone at this location is always kind but this girl lacks on the customer service.

I asked for a topo chico with salt and lime which they then proceeded to put in a cup and charge me $9. I asked why it was so expensive and they said it’s the price of the cup?? This is absolutely ridiculous

I would like to share my experience with this business I have been in Waukegan for 20 years I have never been treated so disrespectful this business hire people that don't speak no English I went there to buy some food for my children and I got so discriminated that they went and got a black person to speak to me when I speak Spanish it hurted me so bad that my kids stand there and I didn't even know what to say to them the funny thing is nobody seems to care in the store whether they're treating you bad or ignoring you it seems to me like they're only cater for Latino people I don't understand what type of oil we're living in but for this type of activities to be happening in these business are not taking actions it's not fair because people are spending a lot of money with them and they are being treated so discriminated especially black people Latino people seem to have a cold where they are supposed to treat us good just for the money this is not right I see why Trump talks the way he does you guys are doing this please get your employees under good manners to respect people that's trying to speak Spanish the least they can do is work with them not go and get a black person to speak to a black person that's not right that hurted me so bad because I'm not even black I'm Belizean I know Spanish so do you know how I felt at that moment in front of my children trying to teach them to be respectful and try to understand Spanish while they're not even trying to help us with it or understand English this is madness and he wasn't even a older person it's the younger kids doing this they're becoming very racist and Prejudice because of the older parents please start teaching your kids about these stuff because there's good people going around teaching their kids to love one another while there's some kids out here discriminating other kids because of the color of their skin it's all in the business in store all over in Waukegan all of the michoacano stores does this I have visited everyone from Wisconsin all the way to Florida
