Louie's is the best place to eat in Waukegan. Great Italian food, thin crust pizza, fried chicken and fish. Everything is great. They give you the best bread hot from the oven when you sit down. Huge bar. Family friendly. You can't go wrong at this place.
We’ve enjoyed Louie’s for well over 30 years. The new leadership is absolutely wonderful! The food is still amazing. Everyone is so friendly. Our faves are: lasagna, broasted chicken, house salad, breadsticks. The house/italian salad dressing is perfection!! We can’t wait to go back. :)
I grew up going to this place almost every day! Spent my allowance on soda and candy there! Now that I’ve grown up and moved away, I still make the hour drive every now and then for their awesome comfort food! The Paterson family is just like our own family❤️ I recommend Louie’s to everyone ❤️
