Louie's is the best place to eat in Waukegan. Great Italian food, thin crust pizza, fried chicken and fish. Everything is great. They give you the best bread hot from the oven when you sit down. Huge bar. Family friendly. You can't go wrong at this place.

We’ve enjoyed Louie’s for well over 30 years. The new leadership is absolutely wonderful! The food is still amazing. Everyone is so friendly. Our faves are: lasagna, broasted chicken, house salad, breadsticks. The house/italian salad dressing is perfection!! We can’t wait to go back. :)

I ordered here for the first time tonight and it was a complete let down. Not only did I have to wait an extra 20 minutes because staff wasn't communicating between each other when my order was ready but my order wasn't even correct in the slightest. They didn't give me my appetizer that I had PAID for. And the food wasn't what I ordered. This will be the first and last time I order from this restaurant.

I tried Louie's for the first time today and was shocked I haven't been here sooner. The pizza was perfectly cooked, timely, and a great deal for what you're getting. Very nice people working there, and seems to be quite popular within the city. Will return!

Old fashioned neighborhood restaurant ala the 1950's.
Louis has been a part of our family since the 80's. Now our kids' kids love em!! I moved to Wisconsin but I will drive however far I have to for my two tubs of thousand island sauce and four bags of bread sticks!! I get serious cravings and it hits the same every single time every time I make it down there mmmm mmmm mmmm!! It's a Waukegan gem for generations and generations. Love you Louis!! ✨?

I had the pizza. The pizza tasted good. I just didn’t like that the thin crust wasn’t crispy. I will go back and try other menu items.
Parking: Parking lot is across the street with one handicapped spot.
Wheelchair accessibility: A wheelchair might be hard to maneuver in the restaurant.

We had a party of 8 and were seated in the very back of the restaurant. Unfortunately a guest at the table behind us was obnoxiously loud and made normal conversation at our table impossible. I know that is not the restaurants fault, but the tiny enclosed room echoed the noise. Service was good, although slow. The restaurant was very busy. Food was not that good. I had lasagna, it was OK. One person ordered chicken parmigiana, but was given fried chicken. It's not a restaurant I'd return to.
Parking: Small lot behind the building and a lot across the street.
