We traveled from Virginia and stopped at this restaurant to eat, and it was worth the stop. The food we ordered was outstanding with plenty of flavor.

Their molcajetes are the best! We had the molcajete mixto with steak and shrimp and it was delicious! The steak was juicy and tender and so was the shrimp. Always on point.

The food is good, but unbelievable I want to eat today and there where roaches all over the table while I’m eating my baby almost eat one of them. That’s how I find out. They were walking around . Besides that I didn’t finish my food and I had to pay my food ticket So next time you guys go, you did check your plates

I was angry, the person who charged a pound of barbecue, charged 20% tip, it was takeaway and they never asked my husband if he wanted to leave tip, oh how much, I didn't like that and I think we're going to Think carefully before going to that place!

Good seafood and great service! The arrachera tacos are stacked with meat and delicious! I only wish they had a plate called “Chapuzón” that most marisco food places carry.
Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu but no kids quesadillas. If you bring kids come before 6pm because after that it gets loud and crowded with adults playing loud music and drinking.

Today 3/1/24 we ordered 12 tacos from Briza Azul for pickup on two separate orders. I get to Briza Azul I pay for the two receipts and as I’m waiting for my food I noticed they charged “gratuity/tip” on both receipts without us giving them permission! I asked “Erika” which is the one who helped me out and whose name is on the receipt, why are you charging us gratuity on a takeout order? She simply says “I don’t know, that’s how the “owner” does it here” I told her that’s not right what you guys are doing, you’re robbing people without them knowing! I asked for the owners name which she says his name is “Lorenzo” and I told her I was going to write a review and she offered to give me the money back that they took from me without permission! Make sure you check your receipts when you go here! Who knows how long they’ve been getting away with robbing people! Also from what I know sales tax in Waukegan is about 8.5% and I would know cause I work at a local business. Somehow they are charging 12% sales tax here doesn’t make any sense!
