The food is amazing. I ordered steak tacos and they are the most seasoned steak tacos I’ve had in Illinois. This place is very small and cozy which makes it feel like home. I have a toddler that was able to eat chicken soup here and he loved it too.
Exactly what you expect from a local Mexican restaurant, which is a good thing. Prices are reasonable, tacos are still less than $3.00, which in 2025 is a good price!

Cute little place, but the food was MEH. I had their "famous" quesadilla and "famous" gordita and both were bland and SUPER GREASY. I was expecting something amazing, but was very disappointed.
