Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

They only get 4 stars because Popeyes is usually phenomenal. This location, however, was terrible. It seemed dark and sort of dingy to me. Communication for our meal was difficult to convey and understand as there was a significant language and no attempt to help with that hurdle. Nonetheless, the food itself was good as usual.

I feel that dealing with food, gloves should be worn when cooking or boxing. I know and seen they were using tongs but still should be worn. Cashier stated that they are only worn when wrapping sandwiches 🥪 😒..

Hi, this used to be a great fast food place but nowadays dont even go there to go order, i seen a guy who look like a Philippino fair skin with black hair. I seen that guy while going through drive thru, he eats in the kitchen, i saw him taking boogers out of his nose while serving the customers. When this happened i was asking the crew members for the manager and they wouldnt let me see them. This is very much unhinged and unhealthy. Please take action.

Not returning to this location. I don’t know why I went back anyways. Told me to pull to the front for 6 minutes to prepare my pick up order. Which I didn’t mind I thought I was getting fresh food. No, waited for 25 minutes to be completely forgotten about while they talk, eat off the line, and hug up with a male employee. I had to go in for them to even start it. Waited for absolutely nothing. Management on Friday November 7 2025 needs to be changed in my opinion.

This popeyes used to be very busy but now they barely get customers. The food was cold and dry and it was just sitting there when prepared. I asked for sauce and they told me that's extra. It's unfortunate I need to drive to North Chicago to the other popeyes to get some chicken.

No customer service at all. Dirty location, packing food with no gloves on. Moving slow while the line is long. Not enough common sense to ask who is waiting for a pickup order. Also watched them mess up 2 orders back to back and charge the customers for their mistake.

they closed early and turned us away and the lady working with a pink hair accessory was extremely rude

The food was terrible, cold, chicken looked old, the fries was just placed in the bag and not the fries container. The drinks were not covered. When I took the food back, they acted like they didn't know what to do and the food still looked old, cold and looked burt.

There is also a new black female workers that gave me a shitty look when I had to call me back for items

I didn’t even order food. I just came in as an uber driver. I come in and obviously the aesthetics and environment and vibe are terrible. This Popeyes isn’t known for having a stellar vibe. I come in, I’m the only person in the store, the only person at the register, and none of the three people working even looked my direction when I came in or when I was at the counter. In fact the lady and her husband kept their backs turned on me for 13 minutes of the 15 minutes I was in there for. The lady doing quality control didn’t even say hello to me when I said hello to her first. I waited 12 minutes for a singular box of wings and two little things of sauce.

I’ve worked in food service. I’ve worked places that were probably a lot worse than this location in terms of sales and labor. I literally watched two people deliberately work as slow as possible. The third guy in the back was locked in and cooking so props to that guy. She had maybe 6 orders she had to pack, all of the food was prepped and ready to go for her at her station. I think she averaged 5 minutes per order and literally all she had todo was use tongs to place things in boxes. I asked her a follow up question just to check that the order was ready to go and she said yes obviously but in a way that felt like a curse.

If you hate working in food service then you have to find another job! I understand we are all to some degree searching for that easy life with good pay but that easy life is never in the fast food industry. It’s fast food for a reason. I want it fast and with a smile. No one ever said this industry is easy. Please don’t ruin this experience for others if you hate your food service job. Do everyone a favor and stop touching food with your negative attitude!

Just to restate: I waited 15 minutes total for an order that literally had one box of chicken, one mash potato container, and two sauce cups. I waited 15 minutes talking to myself essentially because the lady pretended I wasn’t there. I waited 15 minutes for a box of food that should only take 15 seconds to assemble. Another example of a fast food restaurant charging you for name brand food products with an attitude.

This guy David had the best customer service I've ever seen. He was super kind and even served me well in the dead of night.
