This is my new spot for lunch when I'm in the area. My work takes.me to very rural areas throughout IL, IN, and KY. Trying to find decent spots to eat can be tough unless you're wanting a fast food chain.I found the Little Red Barn while checking Google Maps for a nearby restaurant. I knew with a name like this, it had to be a small mom and pop spot, which are my favorites. Walked in, sat down, and was immediately greeted. Ordered a breaded tenderloin and seasoned fries....

A very good restaurant serving home style food. They hand write a daily menu with a few entrees, about 20 side choices and 12 different pies plus other desserts. Everything was really good.
