El Coco Loco is a solid choice in West Chicago and has been consistently reliable every time I’ve stopped in. what threw me off is how they have the promotion for $1.50 tacos but if you want the cilantro and onion on the side they will charge you full price. Doesn’t make sense. If I have on the taco, it’s the promotion but having it on the side, isn’t? And to top it off .. there was a customer infront of me and was saying how a certain topping was extra charge. And the customer tried to explain that he did not get told that. The guy infront with glasses processed to tell him that this is the United States, everything is a charge, which that response was not appropriate. The customer was only trying to say that they should say there’s an extra charge for certain toppings. I wouldn’t have made this review if I didn’t hear the guy with the glasses respond to their customer that way. I could feel the customers frustration

Been dining here FOREVER ! Typically I order Al La carte items - not dinners & generally pop in for lunch.
Order the 3 Tostadas as well as a side order of refried beans and then take 1.5-2 home for another meal.
Always good always on top of their orders
