You guys need to update your menu. Coffee was in the menu, the waitress said they don’t sell it...I ordered breaded shrimp....15 minutes later, she comes back saying they are out.

I’ m lucky of finding this place. Food is amazing and the drinks are excellent. The service is great. I try the Camarones Cucarachas and Sushi el Valiente and both were delicious. My favorite drink is the Pineapple Margarita with Mezcal because they use fresh pineapple. Also the manager is very nice, she stopped in my table to ask how was everything and she always had a smile. The best seafood restaurant in West Chicago.

Went there on Sunday. The place was mostly empty and service was ridiculously SLOW. My margarita, when it finally showed up, was watery and didn't seem to have sufficient tequila (I paid a premium to get a top shelf tequila). My entree, which was supposed to be hot, was cold, both the shrimp and the fries. On the plus side, servings were huge and the food was good.
Have been here three times, this last time they doubled the prices on big platters to 160. I personally do not think they are worth that much. I called a Thursday to reserve a table for a party of 25 people for Saturday night. The entire place only had 2 waiters which were very vey nice but not enough for the amount of customers. We waited for ever for drinks, mixed drinks taste either too sweet or too strong never good. I order two mojitos that never made it to my table but was being charged for. Also had to keep waiving down waiters to get anything for our table. The food is great but being understaffed and over price in my opinion makes this place bad.

Waitress made for a bad experience. Only had my table of five and another party five. Yes never came to clean our table after our first round of drinks and appetizers then brought our food and gave us attitude to make room for food only time we saw her was when she took our order then brought out our food we had to waive her to us to ask for check as she sat in a booth with another waitress. Then again waived her down to pick up our bill. Food took forever to come to out table ordered empanadas de camarón, charola de langostinos, camarones zarandeados and taco dinner. Food was not bad but like islas flavor better. Empanadas would not recommend sauce it comes with is like a dressing not good. Taco meat is good bean are horrible and rice needs more flavor. Shrimp flavors were good not bad just prefer isla flavor. Drinks were good mango margarita and piña colada. Dj was good not a fan of karaoke but it was a good dj. Its a big nice restaurant but you can tell wait staff and cook could be better trained. Would not go back i know seafood like this is pricey so dont mind paying but when the tip is included and u pay 40 and the waitress does not meet the service then it will turn customers away.
