Happy Dog is my happy place. I’ve been going since it was Happy House and I think Leon and his family are absolutely doing it justice. They’re always so kind, they remember you when you visit, and the food is never less than 5 stars.

Honesty, the name says it all for the most part. If you wanna be happy, go and get a dog and fries at this authentic hot dog stand! Then, what are you waiting for?! As soon as you arrive, Carlos and family make you feel like you’ve been there before and are so happy to be back. Then, you’ll ask yourself two questions. Why did it take so long for me to hear about this place? When can I come back??

Fresh cut fries are exceptional, hotdogs are classic, the Italian beef eggrolls are special!! I’ve never eaten anything there wasn’t Outstanding. The picnic tables outside make it perfect for an afternoon lunch to break from the office, or a date spot on a beautiful evening. Also, fun for birthdays and special nights with the family.

I have great food. It seems like it might take a little bit longer than your average fast food place to put together for you but it's well worth the wait! Burgers were just awesome and the onion rings and fries are terrific!

The food here is amazing and is actually not that expensive for how much you get which is saying something when compared with how expensive it is getting nowadays. 100% worth it for food alone and I'll definitely be back. Carlos inside is very friendly and I can tell he enjoys what he is doing inside. I grew up in Logan square and going here really makes me feel like I'm back when I was a kid. It's really hard to explain it but it's very nostalgic. If you're in town then don't pass this place up
