Pretty impressed with this suburban hideaway! Im from out of town, so I don't know how popular John & Tony's is (there were only three other customers on the Tuesday night I visited), but would say the quality vs. value is top of class and worth a visit! Menu and bar selection is small, but let's face it, you're going for a good steak and their aged NY Strip is a winner... Cooked perfectly and just buttery enough to pop. Fresh grilled veggies on the side...
Food was good but very limited menu. The ambiance was terrific and classier than the menu. Service was great- but it couldn’t make up for the lack of menu choices. We were looking for a step above a bar menu and it wasn’t.
This place has been around for a long time, but it seems as if the owners have changed again. I live in the area and didn't even know if it was open! That said, we had a delightful evening. The place isn't crowded, the service is a bit slow, but they are working hard to recover post pandemic. Give them a chance!
