Came here for the first time and they definitely exceeded my expectations! The cake was beautiful and tasted even better. Everyone at the party really enjoyed it. Not to mention the staff, they were wonderful to work with very kind and I appreciate the patience they had with me. This is definitely going to be the only place I order cakes from! 10/10 recommend!

The only reason I didn’t give a 5star is, because I only speak English unfortunately and they speak Spanish. I had to wait for a gentleman name Omar to come in to take my order. I feel like it’s unfortunate, cause the 8inch red velvet and whipped cream cake was amazing!🤩… they even made it for me at the last minute. I called them a day before my mother in-law birthday. I also bought a slice of there tres letche cake and it wasn’t as good as I would have liked it. This place is in west Chicago, and the hours are amazing. Open at 4am-9pm. I highly recommend.

5 stars is not enough when it comes down to the beautiful craftsmanship this bakery puts into their work of art. I’ve been a continuous customer the past few years now and within every cake there is so much time, energy and effort put into each cake! Let’s not forget the hospitality the employees have the moment you walk into the door (: I have always left with a smile from ear to ear. If you’re looking for phenomenal service at an affordable rate this is the place to go!!

My mom went there last Friday 11/1 for bolillo rolls that were freshly made and she needed over 30 of them. She was assured that they were made that day, but as the staff member was sorting them to her, he gave her older pieces of bread and it was very hard. Very disappointed because this was our go to for bolillos. If he would have said the truth that it wasn't fresh she wouldn't have been upset.

I wanted to give this bakery a try since it was recommended to me by another vendor. I put the order in since Feb and the date of the event was July 6. I went in person to talk to the baker and make sure he would be able to carry out the order. Left a deposit with him as well. I called a week before the event to make sure everything was fine and if they had any questions. They went over the order with me and confirmed. The delivery was supposed to be at 2pm. I get a call at 10am to go over what I wanted as the decoration of the cake. Didn’t we go over this a week ago? At 10 am on the day of the event people are getting preparations done, the last thing people want to do is worry about how their cake is going to come out. Pictures had been sent to the business via FB. The person calling was also requesting that I finish paying the balance owed. I was getting irritated because I had already paid the balance the day before and he said that he didn’t have record of it. The cake arrived at 3, which I didn’t mind, people are not going to eat cake right off the bat. The delivery person came alone and my husband offered to help him and he didn’t want any help from anyone. He brought the cake in and from the movement there was a big divot on the side. No problem, flower was placed in that area. What did bother me was the color of the cake. It was supposed to be the color of “Barro”. Influenced by oya de barro. It was dark brown, it was not the vision I had. The next thing is that I ordered a 3 tier cake with different flavors. The first tier was supposed to be vanilla with raspberry filling, it had blueberries instead. The second tier was as instructed, red velvet with cream cheese. The bottom tier was supposed to be strawberry shortcake, White cake with fresh strawberries. It was strawberry cake mix with strawberry glaze as the filling. I paid for fresh strawberries. I wanted to so very much support this business and find a new bakery that I could count on for future events. Unfortunately, it was a costly lesson learned to try somewhere else. I would suggest that you have a better communication amongst staff and if there are questions on how to go about doing things, call the person placing the order ahead of time and if orders can’t be met let the person know. I paid $600 for this cake.
