I can't say enough good things about the Slice Spot! If you didn't already know how good their pizza is, you've been missing out, but now it's even better. This isn't just a carryout place anymore. They've got the dining room decked out full of booths, perfect for date night or family night, a huge beer menu, pool tables, darts, video games, pinball machines--fun, fun, fun! You should make this place part of your next weekend

I love the pizza here. Staff is friendly. There's not too much to the restaurant. I'm glad they deliver: via delivery service.

Gave this place another chance and boy am I glad I did. Pizza changed to a new york style. Crispy on the bottom with tons of delicious cheese. Huge improvement from the last time. Will definitely be coming back!

I always feel like maybe there is about to be something going sideways in this place. The pizza is pretty true Jersey style and the sausage is not the type we here in the midwest (known for our sausage) are used to. But on the whole, it’s very good pizza.Little non-pizza criticism… watch the language. Lot’s of cursing going on. Some folks are probably offended by the f-this and f-thats going on. It’s not Jersey.

Kid-friendliness: Our family came in for a few slices for lunch and the owner was so kind talking with us. He gave our daughter an ice pop when she finished her whole lunch and then as we were getting ready to leave, he gave us a whole pizza that they had made while training a new employee. I offered to pay and he refused and thanked us for talking with him. Pizza was great too.

Slice Spot was a hidden gem of wonderful New Jersey style pies made with love and care. Joe and family were foundational to the success and quality of the pies.Sometime a few months ago, I stopped in after a reno indoors and had a couple of slices and noticed that he wasnt making the pies assuming he got help. They were ok but not near the quality.I had stopped in for a friend to grab a to go order talking it up and noticed the bag was extremely greasy now and overloaded with cheese. It resembled what it was before but now are touting NY style. Other than the weird right wing propaganda banner in front of the register now, the pizza was serviceable and the staff was friendly.

Wonderful pizza place under new ownership. The new owner has really spiffed the venue up and the food quality is outstanding. Huge tasty slices of pizza and great ceasar salad.

This place used to be great when Joe was the owner; you’d come in and you’d swear you walked into your best friend’s house and food was always top notch. Then it was still pretty good for a while after it sold to the new owners. I’ve visited a few times since the new owners took over and it’s progressively gone downhill. Most recent visit the slices were floppy, buffalo chicken slice was all dried up and tasted like it’d been sitting out all day. Service is friendly enough but they definitely aren’t attentive. I love a good local pizza spot but this one sadly lost their way. Save yourself a trip because it’s not worth it anymore. If you want good Jersey Pizza then go see Joe at his new spot, Pie Life in Glen Ellyn where he’s doing it up just like they used to do.

The place is just not the same since Joe left. I've been back there twice since he's been gone and it's gone downhill. The service took way longer than it used to. The vibe is not the same at all. The new owner put our some weird vibes and was very loud and overbearing. Most importantly the pizza was NOT the same. It was floppy. I really hope Joe opens a new place soon.
