Food is pretty decent. Price has gone up since we were there last. But what happened to getting a side of steamed white rice with entrees? I ordered a small sweet & sour chicken and small Mongolian beef; thinking both would come with a small steamed white rice.
Gilbert's have the best pepper steak. The egg foo young was good. The orange chicken meat was overcooked, tough, dried out, and soggy. The honey garlic chicken was overcooked, tough, dried out, and soggy. Please fix the chicken by making it moist and juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside. Thank you.
I haven’t been to Gilbert’s in sometime, while I was in town I took a 1 hour road trip there to get some egg rolls , well to my surprise it was a third the size wasn’t happy the lady at the counter rudely said that was 10 years ago , I don’t think uncle Gilbert would be happy about that , I have to say it did taste good.
