We went on Halloween evening, and the restaurant was almost empty. It took a while for the waiter to come to the table. He brought our drinks, rolls and took our order, then disappeared. I ordered a cup of soup and he never made sure I got it. When he brought the meals, we asked about the soup and he responded, they didn't bring it out. I wound up getting it after I ate my meal. After he brought the food out he never checked back to make sure everything was ok until we were almost done eating. I am sure that had the place been busier like it always is on a Friday night, everybody that works there would have been on their game. It was super slow and everybody got complacent.
As a Norwegian, having seen and heard about Red Lobster in countless American movies and TV shows, I had to try it while visiting the U.S. – and I’m glad I did! I ordered the seafood boil with extra snow crab, and it did not disappoint. A big, satisfying portion with a fun mix of scampi, potatoes, sausage, and corn – something I’ve never come across back home in Norway. Of course, it will never beat the taste of authentic Norwegian seafood, but that’s not the point here. This was a flavorful and classic American experience I’d recommend to anyone curious about Red Lobster. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in the area!
We recently went to our local Red Lobster in Dundee. Jose A took care of us and made sure all food was cooked to our liking and that we had everything we needed. Everything was perfect!

Red lobster is always a solid choice for a surf and turf or my personal favorite shrimp scampi. But the server Jessica was exceptional at ensuring we were taken care of throughout the entire experience. Food, drink, condiments you name it she didn’t hesitate once to show professionalism and kindness to me and my wife on our date night. 10/10 would recommend!
