The Assembly American Bar & Cafe at West Dundee

Food and service was good. The Long Island Ice Teas were not so good. Disappointed as we were celebrating my husbands birthday with friends. Tooooo sweet.

Went in one evening and sat at the bar with our friends! Jen was our bartender. She had the best service I’ve ever had and also one of my favorite bartenders ever ! Definitely will be back just for her! The Burger Jen made was immaculate!! The environment is so beautiful! Please

This place is terrible..they are severely understaffed ..I ordered a burger which I thought they were known for and it was terrible …the bartender makes your food while catering to other people at the bar..they make their burgers in the middle of the bar that makes you reek like burgers after leaving because they don’t properly ventilate it...I also ordered a Modelo on draft which was warm and I didn’t even get a lime .. this place needs some serious changes or new management…I saw the manager standing around observing how bad this place is run…it is very poorly run I don’t know how they are still in business..

Food was very undercooked. Wait staff was dismissive of error. This is the third time we’ve been to this location and the food has been mediocre at best. Expensive and not worth the money.

Been to several restaurants in the area including The Assembly and my recent visit was remarkable. Anthony, our bartender server did an excellent job and making sure all the food was done properly and cocktails were served again. We’ve been here before, but I would have to say this is our best visit. Thank you to the assembly and Anthony for being here when we need you.

Probably some of the worst food I’ve ever had

Had a waitress stop by who was helping clean our table for our actual waitress... she came up to my toddler and said, "You have blonde hair and blue eyes, you would've made Hitler proud." I called manager and reported this racist and horrific incident and nothing happened. Never going back. Watch out for who you hire...

Saturday evening my family always goes out to eat. We went to the Olive Garden and received absolutely no service so we walked out and decided we were going to come here for dinner instead. We received the best service from the time we walked in until we left. Our server Anthony was amazing and had a great personality.

If your gambling don't expect any servers or bartender. I had to ask the guys in the kitchen for a waitress. And the music is too bubble gum teenage. Should be geared towards an older crowd.

I love the Hoffman Estates location and this us just as good.

Live music on Wednesdays. So loud that you can't have a conversation ....or think for that matter. Go somewhere else. Expressed our concerns to the manager who did not care.

Everyone was very nice, friendly and helpful if o had questions about the food! The full slab of ribs were so good!! They make a lot of their food homemade! Love the coleslaw, my husband loves the potatoes salad! Potato skins are perfect and taste great! My husband loved their Ruben sandwich, my cheeseburger was delicious! Plenty of food, I had the sampler chicken tenders and potato skins! My husband had the Octoberfest sausage dinner and he left nothing on the plate, so I knew he loved it!! Yes, I’ve been the at least 6 times, my husband 3 times! Will be going again in the next 2 weeks with work friends and Bestfriend. Absolutely ? love the food with great service!
