We live in Crystal Lake and travelled to Dundee for pizza. And, wow! I'm so glad we did. It is exactly what I've been looking for. The crust is perfect. It is bubbly, flavorful and the best chew. The ingredients are super fresh and the exact right amount for the wood fired oven. I had the chef special - inventive, unique and delicious. My husband's rosemary sausage pizza was excellent. Amazing! This was our first visit to Woodfire. Isaac was our server and gave us great recommendations. For appetizers, we ordered the ricotta and honey toast and the fries. For pizza, we chose the Garlic Rose and Prosciutto with Arugula with red sauce. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was pleasant. Shoutout to the hostess and the busser (Jordan). Great experience all around!
We love it here, fresh and yummy! Love the honey ricotta bread and the pizza (tried several over many visits and love them all) the only negative is sometimes it smells like they need to pour water down a drain (sewer gas smell) but food makes up for it :)
