drove over from terre haute today. they weren't overly busy but sat us in the back room and pretty much forgot about us. we sat there for like 20 mins and finally just left. didn't see a waitress after we got seated. didn't even give us menus after we got seated and waited patiently for waitress to show up. wasted that drive. I dont mind waiting but the people coming in after us were getting menus and everything. so after about 20 mins of being there and nobody helping us at all, we just left. we will take our business elsewhere.

Had lunch there today with my wife. This place is a real jewel, they know how to cook. I really appreciated the big slice of sweet onion on my bacon cheeseburger, most places usually give you a couple of pieces, not here, a whole slice. For an onion lover like me that is sandwich heaven.

the pancakes were one of the best pancakes me and my friends and i have had. the service was great our waitress was so kind and polite and everyone is there was welcoming and very nice .

I debated leaving this review because it’s not a good review. We currently are temporarily relocated to Ga and I have made a point of visiting this restaurant each time we come home for a visit. This is the second time that their award winning (fork in the road) broasted chicken has been basically inedible (in my opinion). It was not cooked fresh, served cold (not even food safe temp) after having spent way too much time under a heat lamp and the meat portion was tough and dry. This chicken used to be cooked fresh and to order so it was fresh, hot and had great taste. I will not be making a point to visit this restaurant again when we are home for visits. Hope some day they get back to the great chicken they are know. For!
