Went after donating blood in Paris IL. They had a sign that stated they had the best pie and best fried Chicken in the Wabash Valley. So I tried them both! The chicken was crispy on the outside, moist and juicy on the inside. Pretty damn good chicken. Had baked potato and onion rings on the side. Both good but my neighbors green beans looked better. Wife had grilled chicken with cheese and bacon and it was also great. Mashed potato's were yummy and creamy Cole slaw was great...
We have been here several times for the all you can eat catfish and never dissatisfied but today our dinners came before we had a chance to get our first bite of our salad and catfish was barely warm asked for more fresh and hot and it wasn't much better we hope this was just an off night because we will be back
Good comfort food, salad bar, and homemade desserts. Very friendly staff. I wouldn't go on a 1st date, tight spacing. The building is dated. Great food, just don't go for the asterisks, lol.
