I had a double cheeseburger and fries. I can eat a big meal but that burger was almost more than I could eat! I believe it was stated to be 1/3 pound patties and I believe it! Good food, very friendly service! And the food was ready very quickly!

I took a bus load of my residents from an Assisted Living Community in Decatur. We drove 2 hours to get there. The residents are already asking to go back. We were treated like royalty. The food was amazing and the nicest people working and eating there. Thank you for the great hospitality!!

This place is a national treasure! The pie is amazing! I had a piece of raisin, and I had a piece of coconut cream. The ladies are so sweet and friendly. I just really enjoyed being there. thank you so much for being kind to a weary traveler.

If you like good food and award winning pie this will be your forever happy place! It is filled with pictures and items showcasing its very interesting history. Martha, the owner , can tell you all about the entire history of this former schoolhouse by heart. Friday evenings she provides all the patriots with live music performed by the local talent, everything from old time rock n roll, to karaoke nights, and she even has a brass band on her roster. No matter when you visit here you will leave here with a full belly, a warm heart and maybe some added knowledge in your brain.10 stars!!

Outstanding place is cash only but family was nice enough to allow us to pay by Chime since we didn't have cash. Awesome little place just bring cash.

We went for dinner and to listen to the bluegrass band. Food was good homestyle cooking, pie is excellent. The locals filled the place and were so loud and rude we could not hear the band. This s a very small place. We did not stay for the music, the reason we went. We might try again next year???

The best place around for some good old fashioned home cooking, Every dish is prepared with love. And you just gotta save room for Martha's pie, no meal is complete without it! This little lady is honestly unable to make a bad pie, it's magical! but don't take my word for it go find out for yourself you won't regret it.
