We stopped here on our way to Casey and will definitely go again if we are in the area. It would be hard to decide if the food or the people were better. It felt like a family gathering with familiar family food that you look forward to sharing together. One of my favorite parts of the day.

I had a double cheeseburger and fries. I can eat a big meal but that burger was almost more than I could eat! I believe it was stated to be 1/3 pound patties and I believe it! Good food, very friendly service! And the food was ready very quickly!

I took a bus load of my residents from an Assisted Living Community in Decatur. We drove 2 hours to get there. The residents are already asking to go back. We were treated like royalty. The food was amazing and the nicest people working and eating there. Thank you for the great hospitality!!

This place is a national treasure! The pie is amazing! I had a piece of raisin, and I had a piece of coconut cream. The ladies are so sweet and friendly. I just really enjoyed being there. thank you so much for being kind to a weary traveler.

Martha, the owner , can tell you all about the entire history of this former schoolhouse by heart. Friday evenings she provides all the patriots with live music performed by the local talent, everything from old time rock n roll, to karaoke nights, and she even has a brass band on her roster. No matter when you visit here you will leave here with a full belly, a warm heart and maybe some added knowledge in your brain.10 stars!!
