Adelle's Fine American Fare

We loved our visit to Adelle’s in Wheaton. The atmosphere is warm and thoughtfully designed, the staff is kind and attentive, and the food is outstanding, elevated yet comforting. It’s a place where you feel both welcomed and taken care of. We will definitely be returning.
Come for Happy Hour and stay for dinner!

A lovely experience at Adelle's. Our waiter was outstanding. Wine list is great! The owners were working the dining room. It's now our go to spot!

It's been years since the last time we dined there. It was a beautiful dinner and great service. We will be back soon.

Adelle's is always delightful but last night we enjoyed their restaurant week menu which is not to be missed! Warm and comforting tomato soup, amazing risotto, and chocolate mousse for dessert. Great value for 3 courses with generous portion sizes.

The service is always lovely and the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming while still feeling hip and trendy. The owners are so kind and truly want you to enjoy your meal and experience. Looking forward to our next visit.

Food was excellent. Everyone tried something different and all meals were great! Our waitress was good, but the extra staff were absolutely overbearing. We were constantly being interrupted by someone coming to the table to refill a little sip from a water glass, or 3 apps being delivered separately, or to collect a plates sporadically the second one was emptied, or to deliver take home boxes in a separate trip from take home bags, or just to ask multiple times if everything was ok. It was well intentioned I know, but it interrupted the conversation again and again and again and at one point, one of the people in our party actually had to grab back a plate from a collecting servers hand because she was still eating off it. Also, lots of staff standing around watching people just eat which felt awkward. It got very annoying and we skipped desserts and after dinner drinks to get the heck out of there so we could go somewhere we could actually converse. Despite that, although it wouldn't be my first pick, I would actually give it another chance because the food really was so good. Restaurant was dead so guessing they were overstaffed. Still, management needs to keep a better eye on things when that happens.

Great atmosphere with “jazz Thursdays”. Loved listening to horn and piano from the dining room. Excellent food and service. Highly recommend the pasta and local craft beer.

The filet dinner was ok. Do not get the gnocchi it is not edible. Plus I've never had a lemon twist in an espresso martini.

We had our Wedding event here at this Restaurant and it was done perfectly! The owner was great to work with, the wait staff were fast and friendly and the food was Fantastic!!! This made the Wedding easier and more relaxed. I am now a Loyal Fan of this Restaurant! I’m thankful for everything they did to make this day special.

My husband and I worked with the incredible owners to host a private dinner in their banquet room after our small wedding ceremony. It was wonderful! Debbie was extraordinarily helpful, the food was delicious, the atmosphere was charming and beautiful, the staff was warm and friendly, and the fees were absolutely unbeatable. We will come back often for anniversaries and date nights for sure!

Just had another terrific experience at Adelle’s! The Calamari appetizer was so good. The bar area is warmly lit and cozy, and Herman is awesome. There was a Holiday program at the College, so they were very busy, but we didn’t feel rushed or have trouble ordering. All of the staff are friendly and professional, especially
the owners Debbie and Todd. After a hectic week, this was just what we needed.

Worst meal my wife and I have had in years. She had ravioli which was drenched in butter and I had a steak that was overcooked and tough. We went there with another couple who said Adelle's was a favorite place but their meals were bad as well. Off night? Don't know but we won't be back.

I love this restaurant. It is my absolute favorite. The weight staff is fabulous; the food is delicious, and it is always a welcome treat.
