Leave room for the dessert called Gloria. They are 4 small round pastry puffs with a sweet tart key lime filling with a strawberry atop each one. They are so good and the presentation is fancy. I would go there just for these although all the other food is good too.

Great place! My girlfriend and I ate there for Valentines and thoroughly enjoyed it. The food is terrific and the margaritas are great. That was the second time we've been there and we will definitely go back. The service was excellent too.

Overall, it is an excellent restaurant. The food is excellent... everything we tried was delicious. The service is good but I think they have become so busy that sometimes there is a little wait. Overall though, an excellent dining experience!

Food and service was great, as usual! We had some of our favorites- the guacamole trio; the potato stack; and steak and tilapia tacos. All fabulous. Also tried the featured drink- beet and coconut cocktail, and el jarito. Yummy!

We loved the brunch meal options and cocktails. We were bummed that we had the place to ourselves on a Sunday morning, but the quiet of the room and attentiveness of the staff were welcomed after a busy holiday week!

First time there. Will return. Excellent all around. The tacos were well prepared and very tasty. The ravioli with shrimp on top was top notch as well as the guacamole appetizer with three different toppings. Margarita was the best we've ever had. Will be returning soon to sample their other dishes.

Restaurant has a great vibe. Sat at bar which allowed us to watch bartender make all of his various special drinks. House Margarita's were good not outstanding. I'm sure a higher end tequila would have made a difference. Now the food, staring with chips and salsa, was outstanding. Had salmon tacos and my friend had lamb tostadas. Would definitely recommend both. Great food, nice ambiance. Will definitely be back often.

Beautiful night for under the tent dining! My husband was impressed with the lamb barbacoa—lightly spiced with Serrano sauce on the side. The salmon tacos were flavorful, pineapple added a bit of sweetness. Our server was very attentive and shared a few ideas for cooking at home. We've at numerous Altiro locations. Wheaton might just be our favorite.
It was our first time there and we really enjoyed our dinner. The Chef came out to talk to us and made accommodations on the food serving sizes to fit our group. Service was great, speed was on target. Will definitely go back again.

This was our first time dining at Altiro. There were 5 in our party and it was very hot outside; so we ate indoors. The decor is very cool and bright. The music was good but made it a little difficult to hear our conversation at times. The drinks were good - we had the mojito and the sangria ( too much ice); wine and a drink of the day that was frothy and very pretty and kinda purple . As for the good, we started with guacamole and chips which was very yummy! For dinner we ordered chicken tacos, veg tacos, and steak tacos and the steak tapas ( you make you own). I really loved that because it's in a bowl for those people avoiding carbs! Overall it was very good and we will be back!
Wife and I ate here again while in town dropping daughter off at college. We love the food and service. Server Karen was on her first night. She did an excellent job and very knowledgeable. We are Al Jarrito, Al Elotito, Ala Poblano Soup, Al Alambre, Al Chilango and Ala Gallina. Everything was excellent and will definitely be back when we come back to visit our daughter at college in October. Highly recommend!

Outside seating, nice, nothing special. Service just adequate. Maybe because of language. Bus person took remaining chips even though we said we were still eating them. Again, a language issue. Ceviche was very good. I have been at the Geneva location. It was much better.

We love the food and drinks at Altiro in Aurora and we visited Wheaton, because there was Latin dancing after dinner. When it came time for dancing, there was no room made to accommodate dancers so the DJ was forced to set up outside. Unfortunately, my ballroom dance shoes were not designed to be utilized outside on the concrete so we were forced to head home instead of staying for dancing and more drinking. I'm hoping in the future that this will be rectified.
