My son graduated college and we wanted to get takeout on a very cold night, dinner in a restaurant to follow. We had not gone to China Star for a very long time, but have been told the new owners have turned it around and they were right. We tried hot & sour soup, fried rice, egg rolls, shrimp with lobster sauce, sweet & sour chicken, and egg foo young. We realized immediately that we ordered way too much, but it was so good, so it was fine. Their food was excellent and the portions were big, so plan accordingly. I look forward to going back and trying new things.

The family that owns and operates this establishment works very, very hard and it pays off with every delicious bite. It’s always 100% quality Chinese food that is hot, fresh, and expertly prepared. I go once every 2 weeks and they’re very nice and the guy working there remembers my order! Consistently great food, portions, and service. 5 stars
If I could, I would give ZERO STARS. we drove 35 mins to get food from China Star. We ordered sesame chicken, chicken kung pao and curry chicken. The curry chicken was okay but sesame and kungpao chicken were worst. Kung pap chicken was dry, overcooked as if it was cooked a day ago and they just warmed it up and gave it to us, peanuts had black stain on it, veggies were dry and old. The rice was so dry as well. I called to inform the owner about the food and she said, “IF YOU DONT LIKE THE FOOD THEN DONT COME BACK”. Instead of understanding and showing grace by apologizing, she spoke with me in a high tone, telling me that i was lying and wanted me to drive 35 mins again to show her the food. So I’m attaching the picture of Kung Pao for your review. Look at how old the veggies look too.

There food is fantastic!! Everything is fresh and delicious when we get it. The only issue that I have is the owners daughter who answers the phone. She is going to be the reason we never go back. She is rude and does not know what the hell she is doing. You need to get a different person answering the phones and taking orders.

So disappointed. This place was recommended by a good friend. But the restaurant looks so dirty, awful service. I bought orange chicken, sesame chicken and fried rice. Everything threw it away in the garbage. Taste awful. White rice - is the only one meal that we like. So $30+ for white rice and a few pieces of sesame chicken- too expensive in my opinion.
owners are rude if you order under $15 you have to pay with cash if you order over $15 with a credit card then you pay a fee for using your card to pay them, also if you ask for an extra sauce, you will be charged, they are rude, cheap, and dirty, they shove the ticket for you to sign through a filthy plastic shield that has a small hole cut out where they shove the ticket out for you to sign the plastic is cloudy and filthy there are so many other place to go to they are just terrible
