When we moved to Wheaton someone recommended China Star and we were hooked. Great food, priced right. Clearly a family run restaurant, so you can just tell they care about food quality and customer service. Everything is ready quickly. Our family loves picking up food from here and enjoying our dinner at home.

As for many years previously, we celebrated this New Year's Eve by ordering from China Star. We ordered food for 14 guests. Food was delicious and plentiful BUT by the end of the evening 3 guest who All ordered Orange Chicken got very sick, throwing up and sitting on the toilet. I called the restaurant to inform them and the lady was very rude. Not sympathetic or apologetic at all. Accusing me of eating and wanting my money back etc....... It is very embarrassing for me as a host to have my guests get sick from the food I ordered. The next day two more people got sick from eating Beef and Broccoli. We order Chinese food every New Year's Eve but because of the experience this time, we will NEVER order from China Star again. BEWARE.

My son graduated college and we wanted to get takeout on a very cold night, dinner in a restaurant to follow. We had not gone to China Star for a very long time, but have been told the new owners have turned it around and they were right. We tried hot & sour soup, fried rice, egg rolls, shrimp with lobster sauce, sweet & sour chicken, and egg foo young. We realized immediately that we ordered way too much, but it was so good, so it was fine. Their food was excellent and the portions were big, so plan accordingly. I look forward to going back and trying new things.

Attempted to order 2 times. Online ordering gave an error message each time. Attempted to call and place order twice, no answer during business hours
First time here. I ordered chicken chop suey, won ton soup, and beef fried rice. Everything was was absolutely wonderful. Large portions so I can also have for lunch tomorrow. Won ton soup was very tasty

The family that owns and operates this establishment works very, very hard and it pays off with every delicious bite. It’s always 100% quality Chinese food that is hot, fresh, and expertly prepared.
