Had the garden omelette and mom had the Californian. Plates are huge so part of the plate is empty but dont let that fool you. These were the single best omlettes we have ever had. No gross grill oil or taste, no overwhelming pooling butter. Fresh ingredients and enough of all of them but did not overwhelm the eggs. Fluffy but still dense and hearty. The waitress was funny and friendly. A bit loud inside with the crowd but it was jam packed due to the French Market crowds. Oh and the coffee, terrific. Not bitter or weak. Envious of the whole vibe in Wheaton, so much flavor and variety.

Met Massimo outside waiting for a train. Felt true authentic Italian Hospitality. He brought out water & we ended up sitting down talking for 30 mins about life without ever knowing each other. Good vibes.

Egg’lectic Café is a fantastic breakfast spot! While there’s no dedicated parking, there’s plenty of street parking nearby. I came in for breakfast and the place was packed, but I was greeted right away and seated quickly.
I ordered the chicken omelette with avocado on the side — it was massive, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. The endless coffee kept coming, and my server was super nice and friendly, which made the experience even better.
The menu has plenty of options, the prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back!
Nice spot right in downtown Wheaton with good food and excellent service. If you like breakfast foods, you'll be happy dining here. Lunch works too. I love the Avalon Sunset sandwich. Toasted just right and the exact balance of ingredients. In summer, you can enjoy the beautiful, gigantic tent and eat outside. Fabulous spot to enjoy food and conversation with a friend.

It was ocercast and slightly raining but we still were able to sit outside under the street tent with our dogs. Fantastic way to start a dreary day. Service was outstanding. Food was great. We all left satisfied.

Wonderful ambience and service! Susan is lovely, she strikes the balance between attentiveness and unobtrusiveness. We had quite a large group due to a family reunion and we were easily accommodated. Had the Swedish pancakes, they were delightful. I joined after my family had ordered and my food still arrived in a timely fashion. Highly recommend!
