My fav coffee in the Chicago suburbs! The salted beer Carmel latte cannot be beat! My only complaint is I wished they posted their monthly specials/lattes on Instagram :)

I usually don't take time to leave bad reviews. But I felt I had to with this one.
My family and I arrived here in the back. Alley at around 2:30. The coffee shop closes at 3 and I walked up to the counter and the young girl who was at the. Register was counting down her drawer. So I stood in front of her, she didn't even acknowledge me for at least forty five seconds, while she was counting pennies in the drawer, then she looks up at me and says, what do you want? And I said, i've never been here before she was like, okay, I asked for a hot chocolate, and it was basically cold.I brought it back and asked her to remake it or to at least make it hot, waited another ten minutes and she gave it back to me and it was literally the same temperature.Customer service was terribleAnd i'm always the guy that will support small business owners or locally owned businesses, even though starbucks was right around the corner.I chose to go here.I'll never go there again

I was looking forward to my first visit here. Ordered a cappuccino in the only size offered. I was disappointed to see it served in the same size I would expect for an espresso. Great quality product, but poor value. I certainly won't go out of my way to come to this place for cappuccino.

Incredible coffee & staff. We buy their beans to brew at home.

Today we went for a coffee and iced tea here. The employees had unkempt dirty hair, and wore dingy white t-shirts with stains. The guy roasting the coffee was measuring beans on a scale and using his bare hands (instead of a scoop) to remove beans off the scale to meet the required weight. Then as the cashier made our ice tea, the cashier picked up the plastic cup by the rim several times with his cashier hands. It was 10:30am and the floor was stained and dirty. Same employees work over at the biscuit business. Sanitation is poor.

Coffee was robust and absolutely delicious. Blueberry scone was dry and too sweet. Not great for the price. Small and a little cramped inside without seating, but the line flowed nicely.

I like their coffee, and I generally like their vibe. If it’s not too hot or stinky, you can hang out and sit at the tables in the alley. They don’t have seating indoors, but you can go out front to the connected biscuit shop if you want one. On my last visit, I wanted to ask how many shots were in my iced coffee, I never got the chance. The girl plopped it on the counter and walked away without looking at me. I spoke up pretty quickly to try to get her attention, but she didn’t notice. I stood there trying to make eye contact with someone for the longest time, but it didn’t happen. I called out, but without yelling I didn’t get her attention. I was thinking of seeing if I could add another shot. Hard to do when the staff walks away and doesn’t come back or even look at you. Ah well.

Two words.....Summer Menu 😍

Iced latte was too warm. Could tell the espresso had just been put in or not enough ice. Not a lot of room to stand while waiting for coffee. Very loud, could not hear when names were being called if waiting outside.

I just found my new favorite coffee shop amongst all of the western suburbs of Chicago. Delicious drip coffee, and the barista who served me was incredibly friendly and helped me choose the right kind of drip for me.
