The des plaines location is about to open but I walked in and met the gm and district manager and by talking to them learning a lot about five guys I’d say this is going to be one of the additions to des plaines Illinois in a very long time #

I would’ve done 2 1/2 stars because the employees are fantastic. However, tonight was a little bit different While the employees were polite, as ever, the food was subpar. Our BURGER patties were red and not burger shaped, more meatballsih id say, the flavor was off and it was disappointing. Not sure what happened this location is usually 10/10. For a $35 burger meal that was outrageous.

Ordered food to go and was not acknowledged by the manager after standing there for over 10min. Although I ordered food online and arrived at my pick up time, I still waited over 15min for my order. Just terrible customer

I've never had five guys before. But when I walked in I was greeted by Evan. His deep dark masculine eyes penetrated mine as he took my order. I walked out with a fully greased bag and had the food was fully greasy, tender meat. The fries were so salty it was amazing. Will absolutely be coming back to see evan.

My first time at this location unfortunately I won’t be back for back to my destination only to find my veggie sandwich was full of mushrooms and green peppers which I told twice I don’t want on my sandwich I called the location manager never came to phone but relayed in between the host I asked for my card to be refunded and he said no I need to come back in for that the girl who helped me was very accurate and sweet but the policy the manager made up was very unprofessional and the Diet Coke on both machines was seltzer will not return nor even fir my refundVegetarian options: Would’ve been good if it was made the correct check orders on bag before leaving the store
