We had a reservation at 6:45. We called in an hour early to double check that it had gone through through the Google maps app. They had it, but there was no confirmation text or email. When we arrived at 6:40 there were no tables available. We waited till 6:53 and for tables to open up. The girls at the front who were hostesses were sweet but it seems like there is no system in place to manage reservations and time slots.
The food was great, the carbonara was odd because it’s cream based and they add a raw egg yolk to the top of the pasta. It was OK I would say an 8 out of 10, but it was not a true carbonara. The tables are pretty close together so it’s just that little downtown set up.
The Caesar salad was very well done the lettuce was cut up into smaller pieces and they were thoughtful enough to divide that up for us since we were sharing. I think I would give it another try for maybe some of the pizza and a different pasta, but it was an OK meal.

Burnt. Burnt. Burnt. Consistency is not the strong suit. Went here for years but our last 5 pizzas were burnt on the bottom to the point of half the pizza not being edible. Yes I love the burnt char bubbles but this is over the top. We used to love the pizza but now we can’t go back.
Yeah it’s our fault for letting them fail us 5 times.

I got food poisoning after eating pasta, service was good but if you don’t want to spend whole day in the bathroom like I had to than just avoid this place… also I know it was because of this place because I’ve spent whole weekend eating the same things as my boyfriend and only time we had something different was there. He got pizza he was fine I had pasta and had to call off work next morning
Update: my boyfriend got some pasta order “to go” for lunch today couple hours later he got food poisoning

One out of the four meat balls was not cooked, raw pink meat inside, other three were cooked just fine. There was a glob of egg white in the linguini carbanero, it was really gross, between the uncooked meatball and the raw egg white, we left feeling sick and disgusted. Our bill was $70 dollars not worth it.

We came here Saturday night and it was AMAZING! We got zucchini fries, mushroom pizza, mac and cheese for my son and split short rib gnocchi!!
The short rib gnocchi was recommended by the manager Mike who was very accommodating! He took the time to stop and talk to us about the menu even though you could tell he was extremely busy. Our waitress was also very kind and checked up on us regularly!
Phone did not eat first. We will definitely be back! 🥰

Came here for lunch on 9/10/25 and waited 40 minutes to receive food. My salad looked like a train wreck and husband’s pizza/salad special was cold. They were short staffed due to students returning to school. Another customer voiced his displeasure out loud to the manager about the slow service. At some moments there was a line out the door. People were picking up take out too. The kitchen couldn't keep up. Maybe they need to pivot and only serve the number of tables that one server can handle. For example, 1:4 ratio. So, if there's only 5 servers, only 20 tables will be available. Restaurants did this during Covid.
We've encountered issues in the past and would try again. Now, we will be going to the Lombard location from now on. $50 for lunch and awful experience isn't worth going back.

Really liked the honey and bread appetizer. You don’t find actual honeycomb anywhere - Definitely a must try! Also, I had the lunch special of a personal wood fired pizza and salad. Was the perfect amount if you are hungry. Wash it down with a beer or a Bloody Mary like we did (long night the night before) and you are good to go. Nice outdoor seating on the street makes it a great spot for fresh food and good vibes. ✌️
