Even though we were picky about where we wanted to sit, the host treated us patiently and with kindness. Thank you for that. Our waitress was charming and couldn’t do enough to please us. Having enjoyed Chicago deep dish for about 30 years, I can write that this rendition was one of the very best. I appreciated that the ingredients were minced finely and the crust was pastry-like. Just perfect.

Ordered a deep dish with crumble Italian sausage and it was delicious! The crust was the perfect amount of crunchy and very slightly chewy. Normally I don't really like pizza crust but this was an exception! It took a while to get but that's what's expected for a deep dish, but while we were waiting, our server was very hospitable. The place itself was also super cute: it's in an old fire station and everything is themed around firefighters and fire stations. A bunch of old firefighting memorabilia decorated the building. The vibe was very classic pizza place-esque. The building was nice and clean. If you're looking for a place with good food and a warm, comforting interior aesthetic, I'd definitely recommend Gino's.

Best known for deep-dish, but all pizzas are excellent. Downtown location close to public parking. Good service.

I can’t believe I’m writing this about my favorite pizza place….Im sorry but the Deep Dish is disgusting!! Ordered two deep dish pizzas yesterday and both were horrible. My sausage and jalapeño had barely any sausage. I just noticed it today while reheating two slices….4 pieces of sausage total on two slices(1 slice had 3, other had 1!!). My 13 year old and 11 year old boy couldn’t even finish a single slice because it tasted so bad. The crust had a funky after taste like it was frozen and was thawing out! It pretty much tasted like the frozen version you buy in Jewel. I was left taking a pizza and half to work to give to my co workers because no one in my house would eat anymore. Truly sad that a great pizza has gone down the drain. For your own good avoid the Wheaton location and go downtown!

Management seems to be budding heads and it's showing in delivery of food. Received a scant amount of half cooked calamari rings that I had to toss and a cold pizza. Spoke to people who were rude and the best they could do was give 6$ back on a 12$ side order. I won't be back.

I gave 3 stars because the parking is terrible. But that seems to be the trend in that area. I have a 90 year old family member. If its inconvenient for them, not a fan sorry.

I can't believe how far Geno's East has fallen. Went in on a week night- a few other tables & the booth we were set in was so low to the ground the table was up to my neck?! Atmosphere is not up to date- looked dingy. Our server was good and took our order rt away (she was not the problem). We were starving so we got the salad for 2, $12. I'm sorry but to pay that much for basically some Iceberg lettuce (looked like it had been frozen??) w /a few onions & olives with little flavor...nope. Def not a gourmet salad! Got a medium pizza with crumbled sausage. Could hardly find the mushrooms and the onions were almost raw. The sauce was the only good part since the cheese was just barely hot enough to be 'stringy-melty'...the crust tasted dried out- the whole pizza tasted DRIED OUT. I had asked for fresh 'cut up' Basil leaves to top my slices. What the server brought out was a cup of dead brown basil, they were actually so old they were starting to rot. I rarely complain but at our bill I told her and to her credit she took the cost off. From the crappy booth seating to the dried up, luke-warm pizza I won't give $64 to this place EVER again. You'd expect this from some dive off the tollway...NOT in an 'upscale pricey town like Wheaton!

JAMES HYDRICK recently brought my fiancee back to my life, after we have been composed for 9years. We have stayed living favorably without any delinquent. I always converse about matrimony with her but she replies me with, And promise me that we will soon get married. I was shock on a faithful day when she called me and told me that she is no longer interested in the relationship, because she met another guy, and they were almost getting married. I was stunned and dizzy after hearing that from her. I was so drained and tried to get back to myself because deprived of her it was dreadful because I truly love her with the whole of my emotion. Until I was fixed up to JAMES HYDRICK whose email is (divine.spells@yahoo. com) I communicated with him and he guaranteed me that my wish will be settled unto me after 48 hours, and he told me to count on his words, and he gave me every purpose why I have not to worry any longer. So that was how James came into my marital life and fetched my girlfriend back to me after 48 hours as James hyrick guaranteed me, and now here I am affirming of his virtorious works. And he also cast money spell for me that really well-ordered out for me. So I will recommend you to contact him once you are in need of magic spell. he is sincere and real to help you out.. Always love the flavor of Gino's pizza and the layer of sausage option! This time tho the pie seemed flat or thinner than I remember. It was super loud inside as 2 very large groups with kiddos were dining.Otherwise it was a lovely darker, Italian style atmosphere.

We dined in at Gino's on Jan. 2. The waiter was very nice, but the $128 bill (not including tip) was not worth and the deep dish pizza was not as good as usual (very dry). We also ordered a "family" Caesar salad for 4 (but it really only fed 3) that cost $38 and only had lettuce, cheese & croutons on it. We did not know we were being charged as if we ordered four separate salads, which we should have just done as we would have each gotten much more salad! And, we also ordered a gluten free pizza w/pepperoni which was listed in the menu as costing $20 plus $3 for the pepperoni, but we ended up being charged $28. This was more than the $26 large deep dish pizza that fed 5 of us! I thought we had been overcharged for the gluten pizza and salad as the menu does not show any extra cost for the gluten pizza "four cheese", which we later found out cost us an extra $8. And, a salad that barely fed 3 people with virtually no toppings was $38? Ridiculous! However, the worst part was talking to the manager. She didn't care -- never offered an apology for the menu not being clear (or even listing the cost of menu items), and definitely had a "oh well, not my problem" attitude. It doesn't take much to make me want to return -- a simple "I am sorry for any confusion" or "We can give you 5% off your next order", was all I needed. But no, there was zero concern by the manager. We will not be returning to eat at the restaurant and it's up in the air if we will order take out from them ever again...unless they get their menu updated to show accurate pricing.
