Came here with my girlfriend for an early valentines dinner. & wow did i absolutely love this place! Our server was absolutely amazing and he informed us all on the drinks and food! He was so sweet and his service was absolutely incredible. The drinks did not disappoint with the alcohol, the food was amazing and the atmosphere was beautiful. Big bonus, the owners are two women who are married to one another, and it definitely made us feel more comfortable being there as a lesbian couple. Thankyou for the amazing time! Will be back

First time here with my significant other. The food was delicious especially for dessert šŸØ our waiter/server was a young African American male, didn’t catch his name but he was very sweet and kind. We would come here again, wonderful experience . We drove here from East Side Chicago šŸ˜‡

This place has has a remarkable presentation, starting before you even walk into the restaurant. Seeing the single door leading to the stairs or elevator which takes you up to the second floor, all picture perfect!
Wanting to experience all the different plate options makes locking in just one somewhat difficult. Glad we grabbed two separate choices to share, and the kitchen helped making it so easy to split both plates.

The service from the wait staff was absolutely exceptional. Friendly, attentive, fast and witty. The cocktails were very well made and balanced. All of our food was great. The baked clams were some of the best I have ever had, the arrancini was very well made and although my pasta was a little too al dente for my taste (it needed about another minute in the boiling water as it was still a little crunchy) the flavor was terrific. We will definitely be back.

We had a reservation for Valentine’s day booked way in advance. They cancelled two weeks before due to issues with OpenTable, and couldn’t reinstate the reservation. They didn’t even save tables for those whose reservations were canceled, I just don’t get it. Was really looking forward to come here, but they clearly don’t care about their customers.

The food was outstanding as always. David did a great job serving us, and Peter (Manager) was friendly and attentive. Highly recommended - Il Sogno never disappoints.

I loved the welcoming experience all around, from the chic city-like vibe to the friendly upbeat staff. We sat upstairs in an elegant room with beautiful hanging floral and vines. I’d highly recommend it for a larger group or special occasion. I enjoyed the grilled calamari and was also impressed by the espresso martini. My friend, whose birthday we were celebrating, thoroughly enjoyed her dishes as well.

Very busy Saturday night. Had a reservation and was sat 20 min past reservation time. Our waitress was just ok, not very personable and would rush to leave our table anytime she stopped by. The food overall was good.

We had reservations since October for NYE dinner. Once we arrived, the hostess shared they were overbooked and full to capacity. Waited almost 25 mins for our table while standing by the staircase. It felt claustrophobic. We sat on a high top table after the wait but not a quiet area by any means. Our service and food were delicious otherwise.

A little pricy, waitstaff was attentive/ friendly . We had the Cod special it was good, the short rib was more like pot roast than anything else, and was too salty for my taste.

We were there on New Years Eve and they were slammed! I made the reservation at Sogno because we had heard it had beautiful ambience. I did request rooftop seating knowing it was not guaranteed. But where we were seated was an area that seemed like they just tried to squeeze in a couple extra tables. A couple that was seated in the table right next to us chose to leave rather than sit there. When we requested a different table we were told they had to seat 400 people and that was the best they could do. After a few minutes, they did however offer us a high-top table in the bar area, which we accepted. (IMO Restaurants, especially those known for their ambiance should eliminate crappy seating). The food was fine, nothing exceptional. I had chicken piccata and my husband had chicken Marsala. Both dishes were what you would expect at an Italian restaurant. Our waitress was fine, pleasant enough. We decided to go somewhere else for dessert.

Stopped here for an early dinner on a Saturday night. Server had no personality everything came out super fast, she asked if we wanted dessert while we were still eating our dinner. She never came to see how things were dropped food and left. The entire experience was so rushed, very blah, they weren't busy like they had a lot of tables waiting. Caesar salad was bland and rigatoni vodka was alright.
