Love Kilwins strawberry ice cream, two scoops in a waffle cone every time. Last time the scoops were a little small for a $12 cone, and my wife’s strawberry shake was a little thinner in consistency than a shake should be. More ice cream, less milk maybe? Most of the time the staff do a good job. The ice cream keeps us coming back.Update: visited again and this time Kilwins team delivered proper double scoop Strawberry in waffle cone and Strawberry shake. Appreciate the team and managers for listening to customer feedback and implementing positive changes. Thank you! Pic attached. Service now 5stars.

I ordered some sort of chocolate from Kilwins. Not very fond of the owner though. She was very rude and nasty. Also, she was blatantly racist towards certain minority groups. It ruined the experience for me just having to witness it. I haven't been back to this place since and don't intend on it ever again. Go somewhere else to get your sweets. I promise there are much better places that are inclusive and not racist.

We got this chocolate as wedding favors for our guests back in 2016, and I still think about how delicious it was and how much everyone loved it to this day-- so of course, when we came back to IL for a family reunion we had to stop in and grab a bunch for the big get-together! They had all the same flavors I remembered, and it was tough to not also get fudge or ice cream but we stuck to the truffles. Service was fast and friendly at the counter, and it's nice they have tables to sit while we waited for our ride to pick us up. Thanks Kilwin's for being the best local chocolate around!

Wheaton Kilwin's is our favorite in the area. Ever since my kids were in the stroller, a trip to Kilwin's from our own suburb (15 min away), has been a special day. We still go several times a year before big candy holidays: Halloween, Christmas, Valentines and always love it. My favorite thing about Kilwin's is the hand made caramel and freshly dipped apples. The apple pie apple is the absolute best! Everyone has their favorite variation. If you're a fudge person, they have many flavors. Ice cream too. There's honestly something for everyone. My kids love the chocolate dipped cookies, marshmallows, and pretzel rods all beautifully decorated with the season in mind. In the bins in the middle of the store, they have tins and bags of brittle, hot chocolate, foil wrapped chocolates, gummies. Great for gifts or just a marvelous treat. You can't go wrong here! And if you don't like caramel, fudge, chocolate, or even ice cream...I'm concerned about you. We've been to other Kilwin's that were a bit of a let down only because Wheaton sets the bar higher. The only reason for 4 stars vs 5 is that Kilwin's is quite pricey.

Overpriced and average ice cream. You can easily tell what is made in house versus what is trucked in. If you are smart, just walk down the street to Kimmer'

Welcome to 2023 Price Gouging! Ordered a chocolate shake ($11) and 7 chocolate candies ($16 for 3 pecan turtles, 3 coconut bites, 2 mocha truffles). All of it tasted just average. I mean, if you're going to pay $11 for a milkshake it better be one special milkshake! Nope! The wait was long and the service was slow... I wouldn't have complained about that, but the prices just set me off. Last time I ever go to a Kilwins, and recommended you don't either just in principle. Who has the balls to ask someone to pay $11 for a shake? Seriously. We all should band together and boycott these places taking advantage of the price gouging and using excuses that no longer exist. Be fair, and stop being greedy.

$7 for a one scoop ice cream cone. Ridiculous.

Wow!!I am already regretting my indulgence …. On the other hand “sarna con gusto no pica.I askedFor 2 flavors and forgot to say “only one scoop”, got two delicious scoops and even though I know I will regret it, okay my waist will, I choose to eat it all. Yummy!

Kilwans items are a bit pricey but they are tasty. I, an Africian American woman, was there Sunday, July 9th in line to pay for popcorn. The cashier came even pointed to the white woman behind me and asked if she could help her. The woman and I were STUNNED ?. We both told the cashier I was next. She then said she was sorry. How is she sorry for purposely ignoring me? That surely sucks. The lady behind me even apologized. I will NEVER go there again and l am telling everyone of my experience. That service surely warrants one star. Such a shame ??

Very friendly service and excellent ice cream, we had the toasted coconut and peanut butter. The shop was clean and they have great outside seating as well!! Highly recommend

Walked in for a dessert and bathroom. Was told the bathrooms were only for customers - I understand. However I did not appreciate coming out of the bathroom and being watched and ASKED if I was going to buy something because I used it..

A great ice cream shop for a treat on a summer day! They have a lot of options including ice cream and sherbet flavors . They also have a great selection of chocolate treats and confections . There is a lot of seating in the area outside but a few spots inside. Overall a great spot !
