My first visit to McAlister’s Deli in Wheaton was nothing short of fantastic! I was thoroughly impressed with the freshly made and delicious food. We decided to explore a few new menu items, including the lasagna soup, the McAlister’s club, and the spicy Creole sandwich—all of which were outstanding. The ultimate nachos topped with vegan chili were a hit, and we couldn't resist trying dessert: the red velvet cheesecake and the brookie & brownie were divine!
Their menu really caters to everyone, including kids; we enjoyed the Mac & cheese and cheese pizza, which were both hits at our table. For drinks, the Witches Brew and their refreshing lemonade tea were perfect accompaniments. I’m now seriously obsessed with their lemonade tea and the spicy Creole salad!
The staff was incredibly friendly and offered great recommendations, making our experience even better. The service was impeccable, and I can’t wait to return for another round of deliciousness. Highly recommend McAlister’s.

10/8/25 T-Mobile McAlister's Deli is a sham!! Booo....They just want you to download their app. Uninstall quickly. Not worth it.
It was freezing cold in there. Else, good. Will return, maybe for takeout.

McAlister’s Deli is a solid choice for a quick and satisfying meal. The menu has a wide variety of sandwiches, soups, and salads, and the portions are usually very generous. Their sweet tea is a signature item and definitely worth trying. The atmosphere is casual and family-friendly, making it a comfortable spot for lunch or dinner. Service is typically fast and friendly, though it can get busy during peak hours. Overall, it’s reliable, tasty, and reasonably priced.

This location has gone downhill. They've hired a bunch of kids, which is great, but it seems there's little to no actual management or training going on

Like a really bad Panera and Panera aint great as is. The food is Sysco sanitized junk quality. Pretty good sweet tea though everything else is just like a cheapified version of Panera.

Food was good. Tables and high chairs were dirty. Then watching the team clear some of the tables it was clear why the tables weren’t clean

A gallon of their sweet tea is $10. It tastes exactly like the gallon of Milos sweet tea I get for $4 at Aldi a block away or Pete's around the corner. I didn't realize how much it was until the person who picked it up showed me the receipt or I would have had them pick up the Milo's instead. The "fresh brewed" part does not make it $6 better ??

as soon as I walked in, its packed! The lady in front of me at the door was like…wow so many ppl! I told her yea let’s join the party…later she said oh you are in their party. Yes lol my friends were already here we probably filled half of the spaces lol
It’s a great place to go and get a good freshly made sandwich + soup + salad for lunch! The parking is shared but huge lot! The place is nice, wide open and very clean!
Kid menu, A main course with a side, only $3.49 LOL you do have to order a drink if wanted to, will land you $1.79 extra, either way, 5bucks for a kid meal!
the services was good, very pleasant, had 4-5 cashiers and consider the restaurant was full the order were made fast!

Decided to stop in and get lunch to bring home. Southwest salad and Cobb Salad. Both very good and both very large salads.

Disappointed as the hours on Google say that this location closes at 9 p.m., I arrived at 8:47 p.m. and both doors were locked and they were cleaning/mopping up. If closing at a different time, please update hours on Google.
Ordered 2 Sandwiches with 2 sides and a soup. One sandwich did not have enough condiment on it (fine, its subjective opinion, but the next parts are not). One sandwich was crushed, and the order was missing both sides (Mac and Cheese and the Red Bean Side). The receipt attached to the bag listed the order correctly. Wheres my sides man?

Absolutely disappointed with the service I received. I ordered 2 sandwiches today and 2 drinks to take to my daughter and son in law at Central DuPage hospital. I asked the counter guy to assure NO chipotle ranch on the spicy southwest chicken… I asked no less than 3 times. As I checked bag before leaving the rapper stated NO chipotle ranch… guess what folks… it was on the sandwich. Folks it’s a simple request. Your staff should be able to communicate and confirm this type of request. It was NOT a complicated request or change.
The purpose of picking up some outside food sources was strictly because the hospital was making mistakes with their orders as well…
If manager wants to correct issue please respond and I’ll give you my information for a refund. Suggesting to come in to give you yet another chance to prove yourself to me is NOT
a suggestion that I’m looking for!
